Been using the Cahokia AR Tour for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you explore the ancient Mississippian city of Cahokia right on your phone. Pretty cool if you’re into history and archaeology.
Here’s what you can do: you can see 3D reconstructions of the ancient buildings and structures as they looked 1,000 years ago. There’s also a bunch of info on the artifacts and culture of the people who lived there. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s pretty intuitive overall.
Look, if you’re interested in learning more about this lost civilization, you’ll probably get a kick out of this app. It’s not perfect – the AR features can be a bit glitchy at times – but it’s a solid way to experience Cahokia without actually going there. Worth checking out for sure.

I've tested a bunch of AR and historical apps, and Cahokia AR Tour is one of the better ones I've come across. The 3D reconstructions are really impressive and do a great job of bringing the ancient city to life. The info on the culture and artifacts is also super interesting. On the downside, the AR functionality can be hit or miss, and it's not something you can really play around with for hours on end. But overall, it's a pretty cool app that history buffs will probably enjoy.

Informative and fun for kids
NO SPEAKER AUDIO. MUST HAVE HEADPHONES CONNECTED. I Don't carry headphones. Terrible design. Who thought this would be a good idea? WHY?
Doesn't open. Restarted my phone and still won't open.
