Bait and switch! Paid for a full featured app to scan my business cards. Came back some time later trying to get some done and suddenly they want me to subscribe to do much of anything. Also as I understand it the app is now free. So what did I pay for?
Have been using it for 7 yrs great, efficient app. You can make it default instead of your phone's contact book just select options for saving to other apps contacts including phone contact book and those options can also be auto set with one click when saving it in this app. No need to share, copy or transfer and save with other apps as additional steps. Time saver, can do badges. I would do 100 every day back in 2013, used other apps. Has better recognition.
This is a very great idea for an app, it's nice to have a digital place for all of me buisness card to be synced up and available right away. I'm pretty impressed with the app being able to detect phone numbers and name, and I like how it creates contact for you to easily get in touch with buisness partners. I highly recommend this app
When I pay for an app I expect to not be attacked with endless popups trying to upsell me while I'm trying to get work done. _I am an app developer_, the standard is to either pay OR upsell more features on a free app. But if user has already paid you, don't constantly interrupt their work by nagging for more money. Uninstalled, and refund requested.
Ever since the addition of premium proofreading service, the accuracy of this app on anything cards using very standard font seems to have decreased. Is it my imagination? Either way, it still lacks ability to assign fields when it has mixed up eg email and phone fields. It cannot sync by itself, you have to manually run it each time.
I've been using this app for several years and have found it to be invaluable. Taking a photograph of the business card and then having the software convert it to a contact is fantastic. The software rarely makes an error and when it does it is easy to correct. I highly recommend Cam card to anyone who is diligent about maintaining accurate and up today contacts.
This app does not work even the paid version. Free version worked for a while then when I changed to a new Android phone it refused to sync the cards across. Very disappointing as I don't have approx 100 cards on the new phone. Don't buy this one or even bother with the free version. as you will be let down.
Double Purchase. Before you can download the app, you need to pay $0.99. Then when the app is installed the app "graciously" offers a "3-day" trial and on the 4th day ot will charge you $45-$49. 🙄 This app is marked as the pro for 99 cents. They have a free non pro app which also wants money once you download it. I will not be using this app as it feels shady.
It requires a subscription for the desired functionality after I purchased the app, which is a total scam. UPDATE: You leave the same comment on everyone who complains about this bait-and-switch tactic, but it is irrelevant as no one has issues re-installing the app after they paid for it but rather the fact that a subscription is required to utilize the features of the app in which we are led to believe will function in the paid version (Pro) but quickly realize a subscription is required.
An unscrupulous company. did a bait and switch. I paid for a premium version, but developer changed the terms of service such that the we now have to pay a subscription on top of the price of the app. So don't waste your time putting in your cards as terms may change and you will lose what you put in our be forced to pay higher price.
