So here's my take on Camera Control for Wear OS. I've tested a bunch of photo apps for smartwatches and this one's actually pretty good. The core features work well and it's super convenient to be able to snap pics, record videos, and mess with settings right from my wrist. The advanced camera modes are a nice bonus too. That said, the interface can be a little confusing to navigate at first and the app does drain your watch's battery faster than I'd like. But overall, if you want an easy way to control your phone's camera without pulling it out all the time, this is one of the better options out there.

Description

Been using Camera Control for Wear OS for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your phone’s camera right from your smartwatch. Pretty solid if you’re into mobile photography and want an easy way to take shots without always pulling out your phone.

Here’s what you can do: there’s three shooting modes – you can capture photos, record videos, and even create time-lapse sessions. It’s got some advanced camera features too like Bokeh, HDR, and Night mode. And the timer setup is super handy – you can set up a timer right from the watch. Plus, you can switch between the front and rear cameras easily.

Look, if you love taking photos with your phone but find it annoying to keep taking it out, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you have a Wear OS watch.
