So here's my take on Camera for Garmin. I've tested a bunch of camera apps and this one's pretty good for what it does. The remote control features work well and make it easy to get the shot without having to run back and forth. The live viewfinder is also really handy. But it's not without its issues - the connection can be spotty at times and it's not the most polished app out there. Still, if you need to control your Garmin cam from your phone, this is a solid option.

Description

Been using Camera for Garmin for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your Garmin camera remotely from your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into outdoor photography and need that remote shutter control.

Here’s what you can do: snap photos, start/stop video recording, and adjust camera settings all from your phone. There’s also a live viewfinder, so you can see exactly what the camera sees. And the best part is you can do all this without having to go back and forth between your phone and the camera – super convenient.

Look, if you’ve got a Garmin camera and you’re into adventure photography, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the connection can be a bit finicky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need that remote control functionality.
