So here's my honest take on Camera Remote Watch. I've tested a bunch of these camera control apps and this one's pretty decent. The core functionality works well - I like being able to frame the shot on my phone then trigger the shutter from my watch. Makes it easy to take hands-free photos. But the app has some issues too. The watch app is a bit bare-bones and the connection can be spotty at times. And I wish there were more camera settings you could adjust right from the watch. Still, if you want a simple way to remotely control your phone camera, this is a pretty good option.

Description

Been using Camera Remote Watch for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your phone’s camera from your smartwatch. Pretty solid if you’re into taking photos hands-free.

Here’s what you do: you open the app on your phone, set up the camera view, then on your watch there’s a camera button you can tap to take a photo. And the pic gets saved to your phone and you can see a preview on your watch. There’s also an option to adjust camera settings from your watch – that’s kind of handy.

Look, if you’re into taking selfies or group shots without awkwardly reaching for your phone, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the connection can be finicky sometimes and the watch app is a bit basic. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out.
