Description
Been using Camera Tools for Heros for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control multiple GoPro cameras from your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into action sports and need to manage all your cameras.
Here’s what you do: you can start/stop recording, change settings like Protune, and even download footage – all from the app. There’s also a live preview feature which is pretty cool. And the ability to tag moments on multiple cameras at once – took me a while to figure that out but it’s really useful.
Look, if you’ve got a bunch of GoPro cameras, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the Bluetooth connection can be a bit finicky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a way to control your GoPro setup.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Camera Tools for Heros. I've tested a bunch of GoPro camera apps and this one's pretty solid. The ability to control multiple cameras at once is a game-changer, and the live preview is super handy. But the Bluetooth connectivity can be spotty at times, and the interface isn't the most intuitive. Overall though, it's a pretty good option if you're deep in the GoPro ecosystem.
