Been using Camerito: Home Security Camera for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you use old phones as home security cameras. Pretty solid app if you’re into home security and DIY tech stuff.
Here’s what you do: you set up one phone as the camera station and place it around your house. Then you use the viewer app on another device to watch the live feed. There’s also a two-way audio feature – you can talk to people through the camera. And you can even set motion alerts to get notified if something’s going on at home. Took me a while to figure all that out but it’s pretty useful.
Look, if you want an affordable home security solution and you’ve got some old phones lying around, you’ll probably like Camerito. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
