I haven't used much of these scanning applications, but I suggest there are rarely apps with this precision and quality. I use it for my studies and sometimes for other documents, and it gives the exact desired quality, and ease with auto cropping and edges detection. My only complaint that made me rate it 4, is the watermark, which is always on the scans.
while trying to share scanned documents on the free app version, after pressing share via mail, immediately ad pops up. That ad is disrupting sending a shared file which ends up in the mails outbox. After that you have manually re-send from the outbox to send file. This must be fixed, otherwise it's unusable as a free version. instig - occasionally ads don't pop up and mail is sent without any issues. Only when ads pop up it messes up with sending mail.
Bought the full forever version, now it's a hard sell ads for 49.99 a year subscription. Today, I couldn't save a file without seemingly subscribing to the trial that turns into a subscription. these are full screen ads. It does have good functionality, but coercive ads before saving a simple image it too much. switching apps
they have charged me without any prior notice for premium package. this is totally unacceptable. I wonder how many have been charged this way. there is no way to install and try this app without giving you payment details. trial for 3 days. if you don't receive any notification for this option to continue or not, you nwill be charged so beware. I have written to the developer let's see how it goes
This app is a waste of money and people shouldn't believe the trial period. I cancelled within the trial period and was still charged. I requested a refund and was denied by Google. If you try to email documents with this app it sends a link and nobody wants to click on a link, because they are afraid of getting a computer virus. $50.00 is a lot of money to spend for something I couldn't use, tried to cancel on time, yet was still charged.
Been using the app for a time now, and no errors or bugs, file loses or dissaperances met. You can put any document into any style you would want: Word, PDF, slideshow and excetera. Also, their upgrade of the AI bot was a really good feature; capable of summarizing document, if asked to. CamScanner is the "to go" for the management of your documents and files; just download and see for yourself🙃 And yes, you can totally sign a document if you wanted too.
This app should be renamed Cam Scammer. I was just charged for a six month subscription that I did not agree to. I am already paying monthly for premium, and the app would not allow me to use it today without "upgrading". I clicked free trial and was immediately charged $39.99 plus tax! This is subversive and unethical marketing. I want a refund.
If you need to keep your receipts for taxes, tracking expenses, or whatever reason. This is the app you need. It saves everything to a clear, easy to read PDF. I use CamScanner to photo/scan my receipts for work. Makes doing expense reports so much easier. Best PDF scanner app on the market. Used free version 5+ years. Upgraded to the paid about 2 months ago. No regrets, like the added features and no ads on the paid version.
I had a terrible experience with this app. I canceled my subscription during the 3-day free trial period, yet I was still charged for a full year’s subscription. This feels very unfair and misleading. I strongly urge the developers to fix this issue and handle subscription cancellations more transparently. I have send so many emails to the support yet no response.
Used to be really good, now it won't even let you save your scan as a pdf, only as an image. If you try to export as pdf nothing happens. You can save the file but only as a .zip. You used to be able to choose the scan area, but now it's only automatic, and it always skews/cuts the document. It is also now riddled with ads, every action you make, including going back to the previous menu, results in an unskipable 30 second ad. This makes using the app incredibly frustrating and creates delays.
