it's just really good ! me and my gf love doing anything cute and fun and we are obsessed with this app. First off who knew connect 4 and anagrams would be a daily battle! but the questions keep things so fun and fresh! we love it, love the idea and how well its all come together on this app! thank you!

It would be way more fun if they had widgets for the thumb kiss and the doodles!
we lost a streak despite having logged in every day. can't figure out how to get widgets on samsung it looks like it's not available notifications are a little annoying as you get them even if youre in the app, but they dont go away once you read it in the app. clicking on them dont take you to what they relate to
My partner and I have loved the app so far but the complete and utter lack of a once off payment for the premium features is disgusting. having to pay an overly expensive yearly or weekly subscription for the full experience is really discouraging. The statement made by the developers of the free trial providing "300" questions is most likely false as when we got to 71 questions and it told us we only have 129 left which is really limited for a free trial. The greed is unacceptable.
First I gave a 2 stars review because the app had a problem and I was so disappointed, but I was just without patience:)) Everything is good and the people who are working on this app are doing a great job!!! Really amazing how fast they respond and they really care about the users! All the best for them and keep it up! You are doing an amazing job! This app is amazing for anyone who wants to connect or reconnect with their loved one! 💓
would love if there was a widget for android of the canvas drawings! but this such a useful and sweet app and really helps in our LDR. also the date ideas generator doesn't let you update the location or dates and just says there is a 'server error' so fixing that would be fab :)
my partner and I have been using candle for months, but today its been not opening at all for me TT I really dont want to lose my streak, every other app works, uninstall and reinstall didnt help, nor restarting my phone, I wish they would implement a save streak feature TT **edit** we got given our streak back omg!! TT thank you so much !!
I saw this app on Instagram and when I tried to sign in, it never gets past the loading screen, and even though it advises to relaunch the app if it's taking too long, I've had to do that 5 times now and there's no change in the slightest when I do.
Despite having great WiFi, the app continues to say I'm offline and doesn't allow me to open it. It worked for a week and then this happened. Giving it two stars because for that one week it was cute except for the fact you have to pay to use parts of the app.
It's a really fun app, but I'm trying to log back in using email, and it's saying, "Something went wrong. Please try again or check if your email is correct." Which, it is, because trying to sign in with the exact same email gives me "that email address is already taken." Please fix this!!! I don't want to lose all my data!!! edit: Incredibly quick response from the Candle team. They were really kind and helpful, and I could recover my account. 5 stars. 😁
Came across this on Instagram thru an ad by the devs. I've been using this for a few days now, everything works pretty well so far, some basic and some thought provoking simple but overall really good conversation starters. The paywall is there but not in your face or annoying so far. There's plenty to talk about and answer even tho I'm just using the free version, definitely recommend. I definitely wish there was a way to request data deletion for sure though.
hey..the app is really good. it was fun using it but somehow since I've updated it the last time,it isn't opening. i don't want to break my streak. it doesn't open. it keeps saying that check your network connection. please fix it asap.
Has been working really well and I also paid for an annual membership. However now it does not work any longer and before the app opens it immediately closes again. Even with reinstalling it, doesn't work any longer, which is sad
candle is very enjoyable but it's not letting me open login in the app. it keeps saying "taking too long? try relaunching or check your connection" I've done everything nothing seems to be working. I even tried to login from a different device but it kept closing with the same message.
The App is Fun but theres one thing i get slightly annoyed of and its the canva if your partner is using a different device you cant properly/completely see it and i was wondering if there could be a zoom in and zoom out feature cause i could not properly see what my partner drew or wrote.
it's interesting and fun...when it works. the drawing thing is cut off so i can just barely guess and click the top 5% of the buttons. i can't even see the top of the color shader. second i cant answer questions because even before i type it all in the send button is wsy off screen and impossible to press. i wanna have some long distance fun from my gf while im away but it brokeded. :/ it just doesn't support the format of my Galaxy S24 Ultra i guess. please fix this!
I have a complaint; my app was working perfectly before, but now it says it is taking too long to open. m Try relaunching Candle or checking your network connection. It eventually vanishes. I try again, and the process repeats itself. By the way, my network is perfectly fine. Please fix this matter.
This app has a lot of potential! It already has some really cool stuff. However, no widget for the canvas even though ios has it. I also love drawing and wish there was a way to zoom in and change brush size. Lastly, I wish you could directly reply to certain messages in conversations. I've only had it for one day, but I love it. I have been looking for a good LDR app.
Have used the app for a good 8 days, it's been lovely for me. But it has been giving me issues and not opening since morning, for both my partner and I. I tried reinstalling it and tried everything I could. Still won't work, please fix this bug. All it says is "taking longer than expected to open. check your internet...." and then it just crashes and turns off. Edit : The team was really quick on replying to me and that's lovely! Hopefully the issue gets resolved soon. Thank you!
Started playing with my boyfriend for the free version. Couldn't get enough so decided to spring for the hefty $12.99 month subscription until we can reunite (we're long distance). The past 24 hours, the app has not been accessible and has crashed before even opening. Very disappointing and wish I hadn't paid for this app. When its working, its SO FUN. But be warned, I definitely will not be subscribing another month. update: the team was able to solve the issues and get the service back.
