I went into this app open-minded despite having reservations. I was severely disappointed. There are only 4 options currently and the prices for coins are just way too high down the line for a movie. They also do not have a get coins if you do this or that option. Like maybe reward people if they come in everyday, with some free coins. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I really liked one of the movies just will probably never see it fully because it's just too expensive.

Absolutely awful! You cannot get any coins by watching ads to continue watching. You can't even pay a price for an unlimited week like other apps. There is no way to watch anything beyond the first few episodes unless you are willing to pay incredible amounts of money. If you do pay, the price per episode burns through the coins almost instantaneous! If they want more people subscribing, they need to make it worth it to the subscriber.

I gave this a two because the episodes were decent. Each episode is around a minute long, there's a few a little longer. Right in the middle, you go from paying 50 coins to 70 coins, and $25.00 was not enough to finish the series. It cost around 32$ to watch less than 12 minutes of movie that was way too pricey. Will not be watching another movie on this platform

I don't understand why people are complaining about spending over $60 to read one book. These apps want you to keep spending money, and it never ends. Even if they have a $20 weekly deal for unlimited reading, that's like paying for a monthly Netflix subscription in one week. I'm probably going to delete this app. I can watch videos for free on YouTube, Dailymotion, and TikTok. And if a video isn't uploaded yet, I'll just wait and save my money. The quality and bad acting isn't worth it.

This app is a real scam . You have already started a story spending coins to almost finish . There are only a few episodes left because I don't make a purchase with them for a moment. They made me restart the serie instead of continuing where I was stopping it . Then, no matter how much coins you buy, no rewards. A big scam. I don't know if they pay people to lie in the rate or if my app is different from theirs . This is the worst app ever .

Production quality is unexpectedly good. There's just no way for you to earn coins like with other apps, you have to purchase them. I've also noticed they sell 1,500 coins for $15 but sell 500 for $3, separately - totaling to $9 for the same amount of coins lol. Same thing as the numbers get higher (2,500 coins for $25, but it would just be $15 if you bought 500 coins 5x).

I've watched two shows and they're great and they make you feel all the feelz. I do not understand how it's $20/week to subscribe to unlimited episodes. That's $80-$120/month for shorter form content. It is SO expensive. Like more than Netflix? I get the production value is high but the way you pay for "episodes" is absolutely insanity. Either make a free version with ads or make it cheaper because that ish in insane.

You have to spend $2.99 to watch just 10 short "episodes" of the short film. After spending $12.97, I'm only halfway through the short film. If I were to finish it, it would cost me the same as a movie theater ticket to watch a full-length feature film with better cinematography and cinematic experience in general. The math is not mathing to justify this.

Loved Galatea, saw this so downloaded it to try. 1st one I clicked was a book I was in the middle of reading. The video version was nothing like the book. Anything that did line up with the book was just a fast shell of what's described or it was changed entirely. They rushed through the book as fast as possible so things did not make sense. They would skip months and not tell you they did so as if it were the next day. I paid $15 just giving the app a chance and it didn't even cover one video!

The acting was ok most of the time, the writing and the editing needs work. I like the idea of this but the pricing is ridiculous. I bought 1,000 coins for $10 and that got me about halfway through one book "movie", including the few freebie episodes at the beginning. To finish it, I assume it will cost at least another $10 for a total of $20 for a subpar "movie" that I don't even own. What a racket! No. Absolutely not. The value just isn't there. You've out-priced yourself GalateaTV.
