So here's my take on Canon Camera Connect. I've tried a bunch of camera apps and this one's pretty solid overall. And the photo transfer feature works really well and I love being able to control the camera remotely. The UI could use some work, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty intuitive. Definitely not as polished as some of the other options out there, but it gets the core job done without any major issues.

Description

Been using Canon Camera Connect for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you transfer photos from your Canon camera to your phone. Pretty solid if you’re big into photography.

Here’s what you can do: you can wirelessly connect your camera to the app and then download all your photos straight to your phone. There’s also a cool remote shooting feature where you can control the camera from the app. And you can even add location info to your photos using your phone’s GPS. Took me a while to figure some of that stuff out, but it’s pretty useful.

Look, if you shoot a ton of photos with your Canon camera, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit confusing at first and the connection sometimes drops – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to get your photos from camera to phone.
