This luncher is my taste l love it except that it has no radio in it. It will be perfect with offline radio. I mean a radio that can use the local radio in the android. Please I can't load music's from an sdcard unto the luncher help me and I am reminding you of the radio you promised to add. Thanks

How do we set media folders and music player? I don't use spotify..

Great work but need stability. Navigation pane - we should be able to select destination by long press. Media- worked once but even after reinstalling app no media play working. It should be stable. Tabs/ pane should be customizable. Those dont need video / recording - can be removed.

Need to get the sound working for navigation. Bought the navigation add on and there is no sound. Tried it on my head unit in the car and works as expected apart from controlling audio via bluetooth which has put me off. This is why came down to 2 stars.

Really nice launcher but super slow and crashes a lot on my unit. It's a shame as I love the customisation options, the map widgets and how the pages work without pay walls, it just isn't usable for me as maps drag the rest of the system to a crawl and any form of multitasking just kill it

I really love this layout! However I have a couple of pretty big knockoffs, first they isn't a integration of spotify into the apps media player which really sucks. But I'd be ok with that if it would actually allow me to pause/play music being played by bluetooth from my phone. But it doesn't. In the app it mentions a "server" app, but it doesn't exist on the playstore. Finally the volume buttons don't work at all. Overall it's a great design, but lacks simple and basic features.

Good app for head unit - conceptwise (split screen). But it need stability, it crashes frequently, i have given 5 rating on 1st day, later 4, after 4 months giving 3 because of below. It has stability issues. Destination selection in map is tedious. No voice guidance in navigation. Volume button is not functioning. Unable to use the apps like amazone music properly in external widgets as It frequently misses previous/play/ next button clicks (though it shows only these 3 buttons of amazon).

The UI is spot on in my opinion! It looks official in my car. I have a TINY lag but when driving its not experienced as much because my attention shifts back to the road. If i could offer a few suggestions to make this great app a bit better: 1) Add the android icon pack in launcher and allow to choose whatever icon you want in basic apps 2) in maps, allow it to take the navigation angle when moving. 3) add option to change boot logo from penguin to logo of car. (I'll pay for this option)

Further on from my recent review. Interface is still a pleasure but I would also like to add tiles for quick shortcuts. Also the launcher doesn't pick up all my apps. I have 2 apps called 'Bluetooth' which may cause an issue as it has only identified one of them in the app drawer.

I do like the app the best out of the alternatives but unfortunately it is completely unusable. When setting permissions the app will quit and will not relaunch. At first this was solved only once by going into android settings, setting permissions there first and then going into the app, but now that doesn't work either. The app just keeps quitting so have had to delete. Hope Devs read this and fix it please. Xperia 1 on Android 10

Super nice app. There's something's it needs for me though. Spotify display in player (I don't have stored music). I would also like to see the ability of user customizations to the launcher. The tablet I use doesn't have any of the predefined app icons in the app drawer. How do I change to a 12hr clock instead of 24?

I just installed your Launcher on an Android HU and really do love the logical layout - far above all the others in my opinion. However, there is no RADIO option which strikes me kind of odd as most Android HU's come with built in AM/FM radios. Is this something that you're working on? Also, can there be a persistent media bar (located at the bottom, similar to the persistent bar at the top) that would show what's being played (be it radio station, media file, or streamed via Bluetooth audio, and/or YouTube video) ? If you just did the above two, your product would be practically perfect for a true stock HU launcher replacement. As a developer myself (would love to be part of your dev team :) for free too :), I totally appreciate your work and have already purchased it (2.99) to ensure this moves forward as there is a large potential. Great app ftmp. I paid for all the upgrades. However I still cannot access custom theme options. Regarding map - when not in route mode, the map should zoom out depending on user speed. Also should be a way to hide the navigation menu, as it looks cluttered and causes the map to shift too far to the right side.

earlier map navigaterused to work in my car... Now it is not working after the update... Error message : data not available... my other apps like google map youtube are working as internet is available

Love it but maps don't auto switch night mode, no integration with YouTube music, mileage isn't logged. Fix this ASAP please.

This seems to be exactly what I need for my car unit. Unfortunately, I cannot set it as default launcher, even if I paid for this feature. My unit uses a USB modem to connect to the Internet, and it takes about 30s to connect after boot, so when Penguin launches there is no connection. If it uses Internet to check for the purchase, then this is wrong. I need to manually select it as launcher every time, which beats the purpose of having it as a launcher. Android 6.0.

This launcher is the best for android head unit. Really functional and had purchased all 4 features to support the development. Hope that App connect widget on the dashboard can show the icon of the app. Spotify build in widget still not connected correctly and often disconnected. Traffic data often not showing in navigation. App connect widget can not be used for multiple app.

Very nice User Interface output. The problem for me is that in Media Filter its has Albums, Artists, Genres, etc but not Folders. That is a great lack. All my music and my lists are based on Folders. Not Genres, Artists, etc. Also i wasn't able to make phone and contacts to work. I'll be back to that app if more features will be available.

An app with a potential (the only car launcher with real google map guidance instead of useless turn by turn). But the media player is its huge downside. Ideally, I'd like to have the media player play any radio, music or streaming service. I use replaio radio and other car launcher allow me to browse through the station from within the main window, not losing the sight of the map. Penguin is only integrated with Spotify. Shane

Great potential, far from polished yet. It would be great if the tiles on the home page were editable. Having issues with the phone link. If I make a call using the phone the call works as it should. However if I use the app to make a call it just switches to the radio function. Also, despite paying 0.99e to set the app as the default launcher, I'm still being asked which launcher I'd like to use when clicking the home button.
