Been using Cardboard for a couple months now. It’s basically a virtual reality app that puts VR experiences right on your smartphone. Pretty solid app if you’re into that sort of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can launch VR apps, discover new ones, and set up your Cardboard viewer. There’s also a community you can join to share your experiences. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into virtual reality apps, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit finicky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Cardboard. I've tested a bunch of VR apps and this one's pretty good. The VR experiences are immersive and the app makes it easy to get started. But it's not without its issues - the setup can be a pain and it's not as polished as some other options out there. Overall though, if you're into mobile VR, Cardboard is worth giving a shot.

Off center FOV Most VR apps I use are set up right, but this one leaves a good portion of the right part of the screen black, and off centers...

Very useful for the calibration of the 3d engine and for the automatic correction of the lens parameters so you are able to the recieve the consistent experience every time...
