There isn't now, nor was there ever, a variety of applications to use this with. The concept is phenomenal; However the delivery falls flat on it's face. C'mon Google... all those billions and you can't appropriate a panel to develop apps here for those less fortunate?

Off center FOV Most VR apps I use are set up right, but this one leaves a good portion of the right part of the screen black, and off centers the visor, so it is off center by a huge margin, and the right lens is cut off by the black bar on the right. Really annoying and makes it unusable, plus the magnetic switch doesn't work here, even though if it should anywhere, that should be here. I've tried another app, where the magnetic switch works, so it is this app's fault, not my magnet's.

Free VR, this is a great jumping off experience. I was lucky enough to be given a cardboard viewer (with a QR code) at a convention and with it I could show friend and relatives. Even the more timid can have a go as they can pull the viewer away at any given moment, something a bit harder with headset strapped to you. Worth a go.

Cannot set up my vr glasses. I don't have the code. I had to spend a hour hunting online for the no button QR code. But somehow the app had one eye looking forward one eye at 90%. Useless, but I couldn't reset to normal cardboard vr without reinstalling! I appreciate they want to make it easy for kids, but where's the advanced mode for adults to customize glasses setup. I don't get why with no button I cannot just stare for 5 seconds at the menu choice to select like other vr apps. Arrg!

Very useful for the calibration of the 3d engine and for the automatic correction of the lens parameters so you are able to the recieve the consistent experience every time with all different headsets etc. But when I am scan my 3D VR lenses box label I just always can se the type of my VR viewer is: Default Viewer and there is no any other choice is available. So for me right now that app is useless really. I hope this is useful for the of owners of another types of VR head set. 😆

‼️Urgent... I need help Asap. This is a gift for my daughters birthday tomorrow, which I need to give to her tonight... Im trying to set it up before hand but... If i look through my viewer it says I must press a button on the viewer itself on the right corner of my viewer to press "next" on the screen. BUT MY VIEWER DOES NOT HAVE ANY PHYSICAL BUTTONS... please help

Opening the app is cool, but the app should have a built in games, it doesn't have to be rec room or roblox. The games can be your company games, from hide and seek to tag. All I can do is watch videos saved to my phone or look at photos, even then the exhibits arnt that cool either. The controller isn't good either, at least make it two controllers or 1 big one. If you download this it's up to you, I'm not saying this is horrible, but I was expecting more for something this expensive.

Google as per usual investing in cool things just to drop them a few years later in the search of the next best thing. Realised that not only be street view is gone but also the actually cardboard camera app. I still have it on my phone but wanted to show to someone else who couldn't download it.

After installing and while using my phone had brown lines across the screen and a faded screen which was what i would see when using vr also. Would have to turn off then turn back on for it to go away. Deleted the app. However it continued to happen from time to time even after deleting. Over time it worsened. Would become more frequent and would have to turn the phone off for longer. Got so bad I had to factor reset. Helped, but didn't fix it. Downloaded couple years ago.

If it were to be updated for larger screens (Pixel 4 XL) it'd be perfect. As is, if I don't select a viewer, everything is fine. When I scan a QR code for a viewer (even one I meticulously calibrated) it shoves the lens to the right, with the centerline cut through the left lens. I then have to clear cache to get back to usable state. Other apps have no issues. Otherwise I love it and have use it off and on with my Moto X and Pixel XL with no issues. Maybe a calibration tool built-in please?
