Seems they have bugs they need to work out. I keep getting a screen that pops up saying to upload photos to upload photos to increase my chance of being hired. But I already have 2 photos uploaded. There's no way to close that screen, even when I completely close out of the app. The only way to get rid of it to get back to my main page is to uninstall the app and then install again. I've had to do this multiple times and it's getting old. Happy with the program, not with the app.

I was on this app for almost a month. I paid for premium and got the background check. I applied to many housekeeping jobs and got zero responses. This is even with my availability being almost completely open, looking for one time & recurring jobs, had a picture of myself, and a bio/about me. The background check was not even posted to my account even though I kept trying to add it to my profile. I wasted the money for the initial subscription and got nothing in return. Do not recommend!

This app is good for connecting with families, but very very buggy. It constantly says I have notifications when I don't, and often when I click on different pages it will bug out and not load or give an error message. There's no way to turn off notification emails for new messages or requests either. It says I have pending job requests constantly as well, even if there are none. Unfortunately it's the only app for childcare that's widely used.

It's alright. I prefer Sittercity for sure! I've never used the Care app. I prefer to use the Care website, and it doesn't glitch too much. The main problem I have is that after applying to jobs, I can't see the job details of that family on the website using my phone anymore. However, if I need to refer back to the job details, I can see them on the website via my laptop/PC.

This app is not very user friendly and has some glitches. Caregiver profile pics either do not load, or only one of their three shows up. You can very easily accidentally mark someone as hired while in the messaging portion, and have no way to undo it unless you log in to the desktop version on your PC. Prefilled reply suggestions are annoying and really take away from the whole point of a more personal search for a caregiver. We also noticed many profiles are the same generic template.

This app has landed me a few great jobs. The issue is the platform SUCKS! It's constantly trying to load a page and takes forever! And I had issues uploading photos, as well as just now all of my messages are gone! Just vanished, I had a new one, and then it wouldn't open, then I tried again, and every message from past communications were GONE! On top of the fact, years ago it was free to the nanny, then we had to buy tokens to even look or apply to jobs, NOW we have to pay $18.95 a year! 😩

App upon sign up and job post that you can't send messages without paying for the subscription which is reasonable. You can't use the app at all if you don't pay for it...applicant messaged and it wants me to pay to view messages. Consider freemium levels (not allowing you to reach out unless you pay, but if they reach out, you can respond). Now the applicant has no idea why I didn't respond which is not cool for job applicants. I've built platforms like this, it's not hard to do. App deleted.

I hate only being able to access messages via the app. It is almost impossible to type out a coherent, detailed message because you can only view a couple of lines of text onscreen at a time. Yes, some of us still use a physical keyboard to type, and we write using complete sentences with dependent clauses and proper punctuation. Such a bonehead move.

Why is it I cannot see all of my messages in the app? I applied to one job yesterday and today and neither shows in my messages. I wished the app icons had separate colours or wording to differentiate them. I am having a bit of trouble going back and forth between them. I am not sure if my messages are even being delivered. Really terrible apps having paid in full for the two separate services (apply for work and looking for a babysitter). UPDATE: Still having no luck to view the job details.

Terrible. Clients had a hard time trying to book me, appointments that were supposed to be cancelled were still being charged to clients, and I was getting penalized for clients cancelling/trying to reschedule in the app. When I tried to get assistance it's hard to even find a way to contact the company, and when I finally did they weren't helpful at all. I'm still trying to figure out how to cancel the subscription because it keeps taking me to a screen to upgrade.

UPDATE: They charged me another year! This is a scam. Half the time I was unable to access the account, therfore I couldn't cancel the subscription and when I finally was able to find a way to contact them (good luck with that) they canceled the account with a poor reason, never explained why I couldn't access the account despute several attempts, and at the end they pocket the money, mind you that the subscription amount was charge like 15 days before the force cancelation.

Ever since everything is on the app and only the app nothing is working right. I can't even find work. I apply and never get responses. I could be the very first responder and I don't get a thing. All the jobs that are matched to me are 30 or more miles away now. Hardly anything local. I guess no one uses the app. It's basically worthless to me.

I hate that I can no longer communicate with my clients or find potential jobs on a computer. I think going mobile app only is a horrible business move by your company. Many seniors prefer a computer for typing as well it is easier to read. I am very disappointed in this new shift and don't see it going well for your business. Please bring back option to message via computer or I'm out

I have not been able to log in for weeks. It keeps saying use the app, but I am using the app. I have done everything from deleting the app and reinstalling, to deleting cookies and changing passwords. Something is wrong with the app. I reached out and got we'll email you? Nope. I have been using it for years. It's a hot mess now. I hope they fix it soon!

I know, I know, make contact with support with a case number. I have been able to log into the app a couple of times out of hundreds of attempts. Also approached it by logging out of and back into their now-empty website and clicking the app login from there. Just hangs. Okay, now I'm ready for a case number.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing the premium membership. All of them are accurate... this is the WORST APP EVER! The app does not work. The app opened the first time, but now just has a timer and the app never opens. When it did open the first time, it said the email I was trying to log in with was a care seeking account and not job seeking account which it was not. Now I can't open the app at all. I want to cancel, but i can not open the app to do so. What a scam!

would rate it a 0 of I could. the user interface isn't the best, and they moved everything to the app so if you have an issue, it can't be fixed by trying the site. also the customer service representatives (I spoke to two.) are not reliable and both had to send my issues to the internal team. however, I have yet to receive any email about the fact I even reported a problem at all or how long it might take for them to get back to me. they just shut down the conversation when they got stuck.

This app used to be good now I feel like it's a scam. I canceled my reoccurring billing & it still charged me the upcoming month then when I reached out to tell them I had already paused my account they told me I had signed up for 6 months of service after pausing it which is completely false. They told me they won't be refunding me even though I had paused my account and they wrongly charged me. The app is also extremely glitchy & the desktop website doesn't work anymore & says to use the app

TERRIBLE APP FOR CAREGIVERS! Both the app and the website are super wonky and do not work properly. This has been happening before and after the supposed update. When I speak to a person via chat, they are never able to answer my questions. I need to talk to someone via phone because of all of the issues that I have. There are too many issues to count. Is there a phone number that I can call so someone can walk me through my account and help me troubleshoot it?

tech glitches seem to be fixed.Now that I have been able to use the app I have a new reason to be overly frustrated.98% of the ads the parents post for childcare is inaccurate! The don't put the right days/hours. When you message with them, they tell you a less rate as well. They double, triple post ads all different. wastes everyones time. I've used care as a computer app and never did I have to do this. They'd take down ads from parents for this,not anymore. No longer care to look out for us
