Very difficult to pay if you have multiple promotions. I called twice to ensure the payment would go to the right amount and they repeated my request back to me only for me to check my account and see that they paid the wrong promotion! I really would only recommend using one promo at a time until they fix this terrible app because you cannot pay the amount you want to pay per promo you have to call them so frustrating! UPDATE: They commented to contact them as if I did not in thr first place!

I always had the balance paid on time and in it's entirety within a few months and they just shut my card down without justification. They gave a couple of feeble excuses, like due to inactivity and saying my credit score was suddenly too low. I'm glad I looked at the other reviews. Apparently this is a predatory credit card. I guess I was lucky

Have many accounts through synchrony bank, but this one was the worst. had difficulty processing payments both times online and finally had to call them in both times. then got a letter canceling the card due to missed payments. finally just sent a check to clear the account and hope to never see them again. for the record, the app worked well 90% of the time and the customer service people were great every time I had to call in. there is something seriously wrong with this account though.

TERRIBLE!! For a company with the word CARE in it, they are not very caring at all!! Had a credit limit of $4500, hadn't even used 1/4 of my available credit yet they lowered my credit to $690 right before I need to use it for upcoming medical expenses!!! I have never missed a payment nor have been late making a payment and there's no exceptions, I explained to customer service and there's nothing they can do... it's just the way the system is. Not very caring or understanding at all!!!!!!!

After being very happy with this app for years, it has been 4 months and it isn't working anymore. I notified Customer Care. Even with uninstalling and reinstalling, it isn't working. I can log in but then it refers me to the website or phone to make payments or get account information. Why???? I had given this app 5 stars but am changing to 1.

haven't been able to log in thru this app for over a month. keeps saying account servicing issue. website login works just fine. so it's not my account. uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still the same issue. I tried to reply to your email and it was automatically returned. as of 9/26/25 I still have issues logging in with the app.

After the latest change to log in, I have to go through a 2 step process using my social security number and then it kicks me back to a blank log in screen. I can get in if I uncheck the remember me on the log in screen but then even after choosing to use biometric log in I still have to enter my username, password and social security number. I liked the ease of use with this app but it's no longer easy to use. Hope this can be fixed.

I think this might be the WORST credit experience I've ever had. I got it because I was desperate from a sudden cat vet bills and every part of this has been bad. When I pay DOWN my balance they suddenly lowered my limit which messes with my credit. And there are so many hidden fees and auto enrolled charges that you can't opt out unless you call and go through all that system, which is bad on its own. I am ACTIVELY telling everyone I know to NOT use this. Best experience was closing my account.

Care Credit has been a wonderful thing to have for unexpected medical expenses for both myself and my dogs. However, the past 2 updates have made it impossible for me to log in using the app. It keeps saying my login credentials are invalid even though I've logged in on the website with the same credentials with no issues.

Can't log in, same as that other review! put in the correct username and password, enter the last 4 of TIN, and it loops back to the login screen. tried all the basic troubleshooting steps, cant get it to work. super disappointed that they havent figured out how to make a decent app when we over-pay them so much. I know ya got money, spend 5 minutes making a good app.

The app says I need to update, the app is up to date. I can hit cancel, and still attempt to log in, but it says "We are unable to complete your request at this time. Try again later." I've tried multiple times over different months trying to login to make a payment, and I get the same error every time. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and that doesn't work either. The app is completely unusable to me.

This app sucks. Absolutely sucks. I've tried numerous times to update, uninstall, reinstall, etc etc... And the login doesn't always work. Then you get charged late fees for not paying when their own app absolutely does not work. I've had no problems with ANY other banking apps... And this one, I've lost all trust in.

I've used the app with almost zero issues up until today! 10/8/25. go to log into the app and said my login wasnt valid. I could log onto the physical website with the same login info. I had to create a new account for some reason. I tried calling customer support for this issue and they just said the app was down. customer service is worthless.

After the new login update, I can't log in with the credentials that work on the website. It wants me to put in my account number but I don't have a way to get that since I was using the digital card on the app. It's incredibly frustrating especially since your account number is censored EVERYWHERE unless you have a physical card to look at apparently.

Very little communication from them. They do not accept chime card as payment. It said thank you for your payment then I go back a couple weeks later to see it failed and they added a charge. I tried it again.... it said successful payment again but I checked 3 days later and it failed again. Paid with bank card it worked and stayed paid but They closed my account no way to get it back. Sad I really wanted this card. It's not my fault their app decided to reject payment. And zero warning.

I have been using this for a few years now and I was sure I needed an update because features have flat out stopped working. For 2 months now it will not update my credit score. I will get emails letting me know my score has changed, but when I open my app it gives me no info. Keeps telling me there is an error. Hmm, just more useless technology... Can't help with my credit if it can't even give me an accurate depiction of it.

App is ok. Company is shady. Have had a carecredit account for 2 years. Took the cat the vet and my account was closed without any notification other than an account service issue notification in the app. The live chat rep tells me that my account was closed because of my credit. Credit score hasn't changed since December. Asked what the minimum requirement to have an open account. Was told to contact the credit bureau. You are better off with just a credit card with a much lower interst rate

App changed so screenshots aren't allowed. I know I set it up to pay my bill last month and didn't realize it never came out of my account. Got on this month to pay the bill to find late fees on there and it saying I never paid it when I absolutely did attempt to. The app not allowing screenshots seems to be intentional at this point as that was the first month I wasn't able to screenshot and it really tried to 🪛 me over. Never had the issue before.

I can't even login to the damn thing. I put in my username and password, then it asks for last four of my social, then it goes right back to the login screen. It's a damn loop and never logs-in. And I checked if I was putting in the wrong info by putting the wrong stuff in on purpose and it just tells me the wrong info is in so that's not the error I'm getting. Trying to contact support gets me support for synchrony bank in general so that's not really an option either.

the app is easy to navigate when it works. I have attempted to sign in and the app says that it isn't working at this time. then when you set up a payment arrange for the money to be taken out on a certain day they still charge you interest fees and make you pay two payments and won't refund you the payment amount because of some reason. I'm gonna do whatever I can to get rid of this credit card because I'm tired of the high interest rates and sending conflicting emails.
