So here's my take on the CCM Glossary App. I've tested a bunch of educational and reference apps, and this one's pretty solid overall. The glossary content is really extensive, covering tons of key terms across different areas of case management. And the quiz feature is a nice touch too - it helps you reinforce what you're learning. But it's not without its issues. The interface can feel a bit cluttered at times, and the frequency of ads is kind of annoying if you don't pay. Still, if you need a go-to resource for case management terminology, this is worth checking out.

Pros

  • Huge glossary with over 770 terms and definitions
  • Quizzing feature helps you actually learn the content
  • Free to download and use, no paywalls
  • Covers a wide range of case management topics
  • Looks and runs great on both older and newer phones

Cons

  • Layout can be confusing to navigate at first
  • Frequent ads if you don't pay for the premium version
  • Some definitions could be explained in more detail
  • Might be overkill if you only need to look up a few terms

Description

Been using the CCM Glossary App for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that has a ton of terms and definitions related to case management. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – you can browse through different topic decks, like ‘Principles of Case Management’ or ‘Intake and Assessment’. There’s also a neat feature where it quizzes you on the terms and you can track your progress. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s actually really useful.

Look, if you’re a case manager or work in that field, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the layout can be a bit confusing sometimes and the ads can get annoying. But overall, it does the job of giving you a comprehensive glossary to learn from.

The text in this app is off the page where I can't read it or the correct and incorrect button options appear on top of the questions so you can't...

Chris Bowen October 16, 2025

Half of the definitions are incomplete. For a simple, paid app it is relatively incomplete.

Stephanie Guyre October 16, 2025

Multiple typos, navigation buttons cover up text
