Been using CDL Prep & Practice Test Genie for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you get your commercial driver’s license (CDL) faster by giving you realistic practice tests and smart study tools. Pretty solid app if you’re studying for your CDL.
Here’s what you do: there’s a ton of practice questions that mirror the actual DMV tests, covering everything from Class A/B/C licenses to endorsements like HazMat, Passenger, and Tanker. And it’s got an exam simulator that replicates the real test format and passing score, so you can get a feel for the real thing. And the Challenge Bank feature is pretty cool – it builds personalized quizzes from the questions you keep missing.
Look, if you’re studying for your CDL, you’ll probably get a lot out of this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of preparing you for the written portion of the CDL test. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on CDL Prep & Practice Test Genie. I've tested a bunch of CDL prep apps and this one's pretty solid. The practice questions are on-point and the exam simulator is super realistic, which is key for passing the real DMV test. The explanations and AI tips are helpful too, especially for the trickier questions. But it does have some downsides - the ads can get old after a while and some of the content is locked behind a paywall. Overall though, I'd say it's one of the better CDL prep apps out there.

helpful information, great explanations, not discouraging if you do not do well on practice exams
I haven't use this app in over 5 months and yet I keep getting charged a fee of 19.99 .. They should make it clear that this is a subscription...
Why are there two different apps? Also, niether app will sync with the website's online web version. I paid $20 for the apps then paid another $49 for the premium...
