The test did an inadequate job in terms of combination vehicle. There is a combo portion on the ct dmv test and the app has no section for it. The app did not cover this important portion of the test. The general knowledge section is not conclusive of this. I would now look elsewhere for a study guide or app. Update- I needed only go back and update the selections. I was able to pass the written tests on the first go.

The app worked well and it was a good investment even if it is a bit expensive. I do wish that there was a way to exclude the ELDT curriculum and other questions that will not be asked on the multiple choice test because it adds a lot of volume to study for that is not strictly necessary at this stage of getting your CDL.

This app made testing so easy for me. I passed with flying colors in about a week. I couldn't have done it without the Genie's help. Highly recommend spending a little pocket change to get the BIG bucks your studying for. Thank you #CDLPREPTESTDMVGENIE!!

I haven't use this app in over 5 months and yet I keep getting charged a fee of 19.99 .. They should make it clear that this is a subscription and it's not a one time fee .. I put off getting my CDL for the time being only to still be getting charged a monthly fee for it .. almost $200 so far .. not cool at all .. not to mention there is no number to contact them .. go figure .. 🧐

Why are there two different apps? Also, niether app will sync with the website's online web version. I paid $20 for the apps then paid another $49 for the premium web version. I signed into the app with the premium credentials and no syncing. Since the new truck driver training rules went into affect they revamped everything to be compliant, but there is still work to do on the site and app versions. Could be 5 stars if the issues get fixed.

helpful information, great explanations, not discouraging if you do not do well on practice exams

Great study guide, aced all my tests with it,but when I got it I purchased the lifetime premium.The device I used recently died.Now I can't access it without purchasing again,is there a way to get it on my new device?

I downloaded the app. Opened it up and clicked on my state. Clicked next. It opened the second page. It asks various questions. I Clicked the one that applied to me. When I tried to scroll down to the Next button. It wouldn't scroll and doesn't automatically give you a Next button. So I was stuck on page 2 of the beginning and never got a chance to use this app. Bummer

This app sucks bcs you only get the 1st few questions of the 1st test, then they want ys to spend $99 to test for the rest. There is a truly FREE site to take any/all the tests as many times as you want, but THIS isn't it👎 You should NOT be able to use the word FREE in your pop ups. It is misleading at a minimum. DMV IS FREE, 20 tests and you can take as many times as you like. Your pop up ads, are what people install limiting pop up search bars for!

It's got great questions. I have answered all the tests at 100%, and it still says I am only 97% ready for my Hazmat endorsement test at the DMV. Frustrating.

Though I doubt it, the people at the local dmv claim I set a record for test completion and accuracy. I basically crammed for the 3 days of free trial you get, but if I go back for a class A I hope this is still around, I will pay. The biggest things this does to help are: It tells you why or how any answer, right or wrong, is the answer. It also keeps a record of what questions you got wrong and lets you go back for them separately. Or you can manually add questions to that section.

It says it's required now to get the ELDT certificate before obtaining a CDL but whenever I fill out my information for the ELDT, it's asking for a CLP/CDL number! This is dumb how would I already have a CLP/CDL number if I can't take the test until I purchase the ELDT first?!! You just lost a customer, what a waste of time! UPDATE: I had to select I'm studying last minute on start up! This is still silly and needs to be fixed! No wonder people are left confused I'm simply trying to study

I downloaded the app and completed hazmat and tanker training but my certificate of completion was not provided. Keep in mind I completed everything within the three days free subscription. I'm not going to pay for something I could complete within the free trial time frame but I will pay for my certificate elsewhere. I don't have a guarantee I'll be provided a certificate even if I pay for the app. Otherwise the training was helpful.

Phenomenal. Hands down best study app out there. The AI gene is very helpful with breaking down things you don't fully understand. The app is a little expensive but if you want to pass your first time bite the bullet and do it.

This app is the bomb . com, just pay attention and be guaranteed to pass with flying colors. Seriously on test day 0% anxiety 7 minutes it took me to pass the cdl a combination and airbrakes. Also the theory material is broken down such that you know the answers and why those are the answers which is awesome. Just do yourself a favor and buy the extra training.

It is a awesome program, that comes extremely close to all the questions that you will be asked on tests at the DMV. It made it so much easier to study. No matter what school for training you are going through for your commercial, you have to get the permit before they help you with anything moving forward. Passed my permit tests first try, and all I did was use this app. Would highly recommend, and definitely going to re-start my subscription when it comes time to add endorsements. Only thing I didn't like is you have to cancel your subscription in Google Play, and not that app itself, and there's no clear information about how to do that. I found it out from a response to a review

It's a great app, if you study it will absolutely help you obtain whatever class/endorsement you are wanting to get. My only issue is, it's super easy to set up an account and give them money, but it's impossible to cancel it without reaching out to them or doing a bunch of extra stuff. I'm trying to cancel my membership and there is no option to do so.

Forget all those YouTube videos to help you with your CDL exam, with all the typos, the AI voices that take over a minute to go through one multiple choice question. this was so helpful; it has all the books and manuals you need to read AND you can go over these exams dozens of times and pass your exam flawlessly. Believe me, out of all the ones that I checked out, this was the best.

I took the Special Rq,General,air brake, passenger, and school bus tests with one week of study and passed them all on my first try. This app is good. I didn't even open the CDL manual. At $20/month I think it is a little pricey for what it offers. One of the questions was incorrect. It was a question about the minimum pressure required on air brakes. There should be an option to take a random test from each category at any time. At least in the paid version.
