the app is pretty informative about the status of your motorcycle. it lags on the notification when your motorcycle is touched or move. overall it's not bad
Reviews for CFMOTO RIDESYNC
← Back to CFMOTO RIDESYNCApp Needs an Update, the RideSync app doesn't work on Android, my 2025 Ibex 800 E doesn't show up on main screen. No option to use Motoplay. Motoplay on the bike itself doesn't work and is updated.
App is very easy to use, gives great stats, and even keeps my bike safe, much more than I was expecting from a company so new on the scene in general.
The app has potential, but should really stick to vehicle specific things like gauges, diagnostics, etc.. It needs Android Auto. The fact they only did Apple Carplay in 2025 is astounding. All I want is my OnX Offroad on the screen. There is no reason not to support Android.
e Excellent app for my 2025 Papio SS. Shows the location of my bike as well as fuel level, mileage, and provides notification if the bike is messed with! It is absolutely incredible, especially for the price of the motorcycle.
my tracking stopped working about 2 months of riding my 450ss and now about a year later I no longer have signal on my bike and it can no longer track my fuel level or anything through the app it says my bike has no signal, hope yall fix it soon it was a solid app when it was working, also I daily my bike and it says my bike hasn't been riding in 10 days for months now.
Works great, no issues. I love being able to monitor and track my progress for the season. simple to track and sort out planning for the day.
Pretty nice little app. Seems to work pretty well. I don't have the option for the navigation feature on my Ibex 450 yet but it's nice to see past ride data and info like fuel quantity, mileage and the like.
been nice so far, I have the Ibex 450. nice to see some details about the bike. I do like how it tracks my ride. came in handy once when I forgot to reset my trip to see how far I went on one of my rides. I do like how it shows how many miles I have left on my tank. one last thing I found out, it did give me a vibration notice when I moved by bike around in the garage. come in handy if I have it sitting in a parking lot and some messes with it.
app is working now. does glitch somewhat often not showing fuel or trips. one day it will work and a random day it won't. "failed to connect to network" error occurs once in while.
Great app. But the main feature, navigation, is utter garbage. Needs to display the map on your bike screen so you can tell when a turn is coming up. Or the very least a countdown of distance as you're approaching a turn. Turn over there eventually is not navigation. Willing to give this app 5 ⭐ if that feature is adjusted to be actually useful.
Amazing app for what it is. But if the developers could fix one issue. I don't use a phone mount so not being able to lock the phone screen while running maps is an issue. It makes the turn by turn navigation freeze once the phone locks so therefore rendering the use of turn by turn navigation useless. If this problem could be solved that would be great.
CFmoto is leading the industry with their smart app. It's a bit clunky, the UI could use some polish, and the USA needs to get an update to include Moto play, keyless start, and diagnostics on the 675ss. Even in its current form it's hard to rate it under anything less than a 5/5. It remains to be seen though how long GPS functions will remain free, mobile data costs money and it's very expensive so it's only a matter of time before they will be forced to move to a subscription service.
Love being able to have geo fence and vibration updates to my app. I would like to see a much more accurate value for the Miles left on the gas tank reading, but it is not an issue. Adding a speedometer to the app could be a neat feature as well.
Super useful app honestly, but the navigation is definitely lack luster. Still gets me where I need to be directed to, just gotta watch road signs aggressively. Which to be fair, isn't too much to ask at the end of the day haha. Everything else is very nice though, its great to be able to see where my bike is and track my rides. :)
No Navigation or timeframe of when it will be available. I brought a brand new CF Moto 800NK specifically for the screen and navigation integration I saw in online reviews. Dealer told me they don't set that up, it's all in the manual. I contacted CF Moto and all they said was it will come sometime in the future. I'll gladly change my review/rating if/when that happens. But something tells me not to hold my breath. Feeling like the victim of a bait and switch right now!
Works well with my 23 950 HO EX but I can't add a second machine. Also, it has an option for "Beginner Mode" in settings.. even though it shows in the on position DO NOT try to turn it off unless you're seeing the turtle symbol on the dash. For some reason the app is showing it on even though it's not active on the machine. If it is showing on the dash then you'll be playing the switch and key cycle game until it shuts off on the machine again. Also, Beginner mode limits to 40 KPH.
The old app worked well. The new app is not so well. It was fine for a while. Then, the fuel level stopped updating, and no tracks were saved. Got a notification that the vehicle hadn't moved in 10 days when it was used the day before. Get the error message "set up failed check vehicle status and make sure vehicle is online." There is no guidance on how to do that. Cleared cache and logged I again. No change. App is less than useless now.
The app is a bit clunky at times, but overall pretty sweet. I love being able to track where my bike (450SS) is at any given time. I would give it 5 stars, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use the navigation on the bike through the app. I've looked up every YouTube video and reddit post I can find on the subject and nothing. I just don't have the little navigation symbol/option on the bike that everyone else seems to have. maybe it's a Google pixel exclusive issue.
the only thing I can compare this to is when very little kids play a soccer tournament and every one gets a trophy for participating. The app is good if you like to see post ride tracks. other than that, its for participation.. the gps is bad, it is not intuitive, it doesn't give turn by turn directions ( mighy say turn right in 3.6 miles and its up to you to know where that is) if you missed a turn it struggles to redirect. the gas level is also bad, it fluctuates too much...
