This app, Chani and her team, have been life changing. I was a curious skeptic and wanted to know more. I started using the app and some of the paid features. Then I decided, seemingly out of nowhere, to try to work with the moon's cycles. I found the Breakthrough Course and decided to commit to starting the course on the next new moon. All I can say is, wow. I don't know what I expected but I could never have expected this. Absolutely incredible.

the readings I get are absolute seamless with other messages, intuitive insights card draws from my tarot and, spritual cards and Life experiences at any given moment, I am "mind blown" at the accuracy. Before I signed on to get my chart, her free weekly reading was a must for me. and sometimes I would hold it til the end of the week just to see how accurate it was in hindsight and ("Down to Astro") were what drove me to sign up to get my chart done, and I don't what I would do without it.

My #1 astrology app: a feast for the soul and the senses. The interface is simple, easy to navigate and not overwhelming, with kitsch illustrations and a fantastic mix of audio and text offerings. The insights themselves are clear and grounded; no vague, contradictory messages here. And that's just the free stuff! I also really appreciate the social conscience behind the app.

I LOVE this app & use it daily - several times a day! I'm in the midst of more self discovery than usual and your app helps me to better understand myself. I was really struggling, but in learning my astrology I was able to realize that I am exactly where I'm supposed to be. The daily meditations have been a game-changer. I have also started reading your book & enjoy your YouTube videos. Thank you so much, this app (your work) has been invaluable to me! 🥰

The breakthrough course that is completely free in the app has really helped me focus on mindfulness, improving my mood and to build healthier habits for my mental health. I'm feeling more positive and capable and am grateful to Chani for providing this great tool. The astrology tools have great explanations for beginners and always feel uplifting, focusing on how you can use even challenging times, to better yourself. I'd love to upgrade to premium but feel the price is too steep for budget.

I'm an intermediate to advanced Astrologer. This app has it all, and for everyone. I'm not practising, as I don't have time. I recommend this app to all my friends because Chani has got EVERYTHING covered and then some. no matter what stage of learning you're at. If this had existed when I started Astrology studied it would have catapulted me, right to the rings of Saturn. The delineations are so spot on and to the point. Perfect for everyone!!

plenty of great free content without having to get the premium version (though I also did a free trial and it's worth the money they ask---if I had it to spare). The astrology is spot on. The tone is conversational to whimsical/quirky in a refreshing way. Definitely recommend. ETA: Update Oct 2025. I got so much out of it that I went ahead and paid for the membership all this time. I figured I would rather spend the money on this than 2 cups of joe at Starbucks. I can drink coffee at home.

app itself is great, but I feel compelled to leave a review regarding the recent visual overhaul. It is visually overwhelming. On my 6.3" phone screen, everything (text, headings, sub-headings, body text, and especially the images and icon assets) looks like it's been zoomed/magnified to +150-180% There are massive empty spaces between sections, such as the heading for "Keys to your chart" & everything under the "Me" tab. this is not visually pleasing or a smart use of UI space. harder to use :(

I have been anticipating the Chani App for Android for years and was so excited to download and purchase the monthly subscription. The app is everything I had anticipated. Its thoughtful, kind, and empathetic voice takes you through your chart as a self revelatory experience. I've been pouring over my chart all afternoon. I'm so looking forward to trying out the meditations, affirmations, and rituals that it has on offer. My only complaint is it didn't come sooner. Thanks for this gift.

Nearly EVERYTHING in this app requires a subscription. The part I actually had access to (rising sign info) didn't resonate in the slightest way. I was extremely disappointed, especially since it was recommended by Chris Brennan... I learned today that he can be bought by the sponsorship of his podcast. The Pattern is the best astrology app I've experienced so far because it allows free access to most features & the interpretation accuracy is spot on.

I've enjoyed using the premium version of this app for about 6 months and it's been a gamechanger! Chani takes such a grounded approach and the app itself is easy to navigate, not to mention delightfully adorable. The weekly and yearly readings are in podcast form and are top-tier--in this year's readings, Chani tells the story of Innana's descent into the underworld and wow, I could listen to her talk mythology all day! I also love that there are also so many meditations, this app has it all!

I was excited that this was available for Android, but I only enjoyed it for a couple of days. I've been having an issue logging in and when I try to reset password I kept getting an error message. I contacted support and received a reply back to provide more info in which I did and never got a reply back. fast forward present April 2025. I ended up creating a new email and was able to set up a new account only to have the same technical issue again.

After listening to a podcast where Chani said "I have all this in my app, go there, do the things", nearly everything is behind a pay wall, including information from your CHART. There is a 14 day free trial if youre into that. I'm sure it's amazing and incredible, and I'd love to be able to fully see how a full experience is different but I don't love that you have to pay to see the basics. It's pretty though, so there's that.

I really want to love this app! Most of the better/relevant content is behind the subscription paywall. I just subscribed through June, so I will update my review towards the end of that. Chani's readings are cute and uplifting, though maybe a little too sweet - I like things a little less sugar coated. I enjoy the "current sky" and transits sections, they have seemed quite relevant so far. I'd love to see the ability to add additional profile(s) so I can check on my partner or family's charts!

There's something about Chani's word choice I can't follow. Maybe it's their voice - and they do all the recordings, so there's no avoiding it. Other than that, readings seem very general. I only signed up for a free trial so never saw a reading that really resonated with me (and around my birthday no less) but maybe that was enough.

The readings don't really resonate with me, plus the notifications don't arrive until 9am my time, and my day is week underway by then. I bought the planner, and had an issue with the one month free subscription. I contacted customer service, but they never wrote back, which was annoying since they make such a big deal out of how everyone there gets a generous living wage, but this doesn't seem to translate down into any respect, or care, for the customers.

I loved using the CHANI app on my iPhone. I was able to get push notifications and see past notifications in the app under the notification bell. I upgraded to a Samsung Z Flip 7 and now I no longer receive push notifications neither can I see past notifications in the app. As a premium user, I am very disappointed that there's not a fix for this. I reached out to support and wasn't given a solution really, just a "we'll work on it". I don't want to pay for an app that can't send notifications.

Truthfully, I actually love this app and its content. I've been a fan/reader since before it existed. But the audio levels need work/improvement. Before, the audio was fine and I could listen straight without turning it up and down. I'm not sure if they changed audio engineers or producers but every time I listen to my weekly reading it's so frustrating to have to turn it up and turn it down depending on how loudly or quietly Chani is speaking. It's really frustrating, every week.

All the reviews are right! Suggestion to make the best even better, a playlist option. ALL audio should be able to be added to an in app playlist so the user can customize their experience. Want to do back to back meditations after listening to your week ahead? Just add to the playlist and you don't have to get out of the zone to select another audio. Also could we get the Down to Astro podcast? Being able to go seamlessly from this to the Week Ahead, to meditation would be perfection! 💕

I love this app. I recommend it to everyone who expressed the slightest interest in meditation or astrology. I second the suggestion of being able to make a playlist. Sometimes I'd love to be able to do extended or extra long meditations. But never get rid of the 5-10 minute meditations! They keep me going throughout the day. They are excellent quick resets when I'm feeling overwhelmed.
