Been using the ChargePoint app for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one app for electric vehicle charging – you can find nearby stations, charge your car, and pay, all from the app. Pretty solid if you’ve got an EV and need to charge on the go.
Here’s what you can do: The app’s got a map that shows real-time availability of ChargePoint stations, as well as stations from other networks like EVgo and FLO. You can just tap on a station to start charging. It’s got smooth integration with your ChargePoint account, so you can pay right from the app without needing your wallet. There’s also a trip planner feature that helps you plan longer drives and find charging stops along the way.
Look, if you drive an EV, this app’s a must-have. It’s not perfect – the map can be a bit glitchy sometimes and the trip planner isn’t the most detailed. But overall, it does the job really well and makes charging your car way easier. Worth checking out for any EV owner.

So here's my take on the ChargePoint app. I've tested a bunch of EV charging apps and this one's one of the better ones. The ability to find, charge and pay all in one place is super convenient. The map works well most of the time to show nearby stations and their availability. And I like that you can use it to charge at partner networks too. The only downsides are that the app can be a bit glitchy at times, and the trip planning feature could be more robust. But overall, it's a pretty solid app that makes EV charging a lot easier. If you've got an electric vehicle, I'd definitely recommend giving ChargePoint a try.
