Been using CheckIfReal for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you scan product labels to verify if they’re real or not. Pretty solid if you’re into fighting counterfeits.
Here’s what you do – you just open the app, point your camera at the shield logo on the product, and it’ll scan the hologram and tell you if it’s authentic. And there’s also a tutorial in the app that walks you through it. Took me a minute to figure it out at first, but it’s pretty straightforward.
Look, if you’re worried about buying fake goods, you’ll probably find this useful. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little glitchy sometimes – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you want to make sure you’re not getting ripped off.

I've tested a bunch of product authentication apps and CheckIfReal is one of the better ones. The scanning feature works pretty well most of the time, and it's nice that it's free to use. And on the downside, I've had issues with it crashing or not detecting the hologram properly every now and then. And the UI could use some polishing. But for a quick way to verify if something is real, it does the job.
