I only downloaded the app for station locations and bill pay. I've only had it for 3 days and it was working just fine for what I wanted it for, however today it just stopped sending the text code for auto login. Tried several times but no code was ever sent, even though it says it was when I click on resend code. After 3-4 times, it tells me that I have tried too many times and to try again later. Still, will not send text code ... It has just stopped.

This app decides it doesn't work at the worst possible moments and some stations don't support the rewards program. And the customer service representatives I've contacted have disconnected our conversations mid sentence. I'm a long time loyal Chevron customer ... it's too bad it isn't the same quality reflected on the technology of this app. In response to your reply: It doesn't surprise me you can't find it... #2 because they hung up on me... 1 star #3 now there's a bank account discrepancy.
I gave Chevron 2 stars because it is so far out of the game with other gas station. Who creates an app for just fuel purchases with the option to redeem points for rewards you can't even use in any store only a select few? If the gas station doesn't support or have the "Pay Inside" feature then you're basically up s*** creek. Make sure to bring an alternative form of payment. What a waste of gas just to get more gas but no snacks. I'm hungry that's why I stopped!
When you activate the discount, it deducts 10 points for every cent you save. It then adds back 5 points per gallon purchased. Unless you have an extremely large fuel tank, it is impossible to ever get above a 10 cents per gallon discount. This is very deceptive. As to the response below, I actually reached out to them before writing this review, and never received any feedback from them. If only I could give them 0 stars instead of 1. Response was that you would be in touch, didn't happen. Poor
Update... After weeks of back and forth to resolve the issue, the app only worked for 2 months. I built my points back up only to have my account flagged for fraud again. I'm not sure how filling up 1-2 times per week is fraudulent. I also do not have my bank account linked to the app. Don't waste your time. Very frustrating! After hitting multiple Chevrons on a road trip to build points, they locked my account. I've called twice to resolve the issue to no avail. Horrible customer service!
love the savings and service Update: I guess I should have waited to write a review. No one in the store knows how to use the app. I'm continually overfilling my tank when I ask for a requested amount, and I get overcharged. With this app it's confusing. The manager doesn't even know how it works and all my points are dropping. Today I had 232 points, then I got gas which should have given me more points, now I only have 164. So disappointed. Not what it seemed.
This app can be absolutely hot garbage. My checking pay never works, and when I called Chase about it, they said everything is fine on my end. Chevron doesn't give you the option to resubmit your checking account information. When I deleted my checking pay option and went to redo it, all of my previous checking account information pops up. There are other issues, but I won't be able to fit it within the 500 letter limit of this review. This app needs a MAJOR revamping.
At first, I gave it 5 stars. Someone had got my info and was using my points to get cheaper gas. I think they were paying cash because there was no payment info. Anyway, the one star is not because this happened to me, but in fact, because their customer service is horrible!! The only option to get help is through the automated chat but offer no resolutions. Only links to how to maneuver the app. Very disappointed in their apparent non existing cust- serv. I'd say more but I'm out of characters.
As others have experienced, I got charged the credit price ($0.10/gal more) instead of the cash price when using a Chevron credit card. I didn't notice it right away so this app has actually ended up costing me. Why not fix it on your end instead of having each user call customer service? Seems like a waste of resources and time for everyone. It was easy to use but I'll wait until it's fixed before reinstalling.
If only ANY stations participated in the rewards... I have earned tons of points from the monthly giveaway, but they mean nothing since none of the stations actually participate. I can't find a reliable tool to find a station, either. I check the website, and it seems to say one will, I go there only to find they don't. Frustrating. Makes me want to use other gas stations that do have usable rewards programs.
