Here’s what you do: You can create a profile, browse other users, and start chatting with matches. There’s also video chat – that’s pretty cool. And you can send virtual gifts, which is a nice touch. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s useful.

So here's my take on ChinaLoveCupid: In my experience, it's one of the better Chinese dating apps out there. I've tried a few and this one seems to have the most active user base and decent features. The profiles seem legit and I like that you can video chat. But yeah, the ads can get old if you don't upgrade. Overall though, it's a pretty solid option if you're into Chinese dating.
