Do not use this app. I ordered from 1 restaurant for literally years. I'd click on my recent orders and order from the same restaurant, same location every time. One day the app decides to send the order to a random location way out of my way. Support would not help me. The app works but if something goes wrong you are no getting a penny back.

This is one of the worst food ordering applications I've used. Not only can you not see the progress of your order within the app once you've placed it, you have to rely on email updates for your order's progress. And, for some reason, my delivery order got switched to a pickup order. However, the only reason why I knew that was because it was way past the estimated delivery time. So, I called the restaurant and they told me it was for pickup. Very disappointed.

Love the simple pricing - means that my local restaurants can stay in business! Also love that I can see local restaurants and filter that list. Wish the menu/ordering interface was easier to navigate. A long list of items with limited ability to filter or see descriptions isn't great, not to mention that the add-on options aren't clear in many cases and are shared across dishes.

There is no way to contact customer support. I'm not sure how it allowed me to order food from a restaurant but when the order was wrong I called the restaurant and they didn't have my order on thier customer list because chownow had made the order (not under my name). The app has place for receipts however it show that I don't have any orders yet. Also now the app is not allowing me to login, when I use the same info for all the food apps.

I decided to try this app as it's recommended by one of my favorite restaurants. Created an account, put in my order, and then got tossed to the login screen. Entered my info, was taken back to the order screen, and when I tried to submit my order again, was tossed back to login. No idea what the problem is, as I was not given any error information, but I don't have the time nor the patience to deal with it.

I love how many restaurants are on here and it makes be happy to be able to support these places. I do have a problem with placing orders for pickup when I wanted them delivered and there is no way to change it or cancel and reorder. It doesn't ask if I want pick up or delivery it just defaults to pickup, even though the restaurant has the option for either.

What a perfect way to end possibly one of the most stressful days of my life! Of *course* I wanted this app to change my order from delivery to pickup, still charge me a delivery fee and driver tip, and not tell me it did so! I also LOVED how it lied to me when it said, "Your order will be delivered by 7:21!" Long story short, don't get this app! I'm still waiting on a refund for what I didn't get (delivery service)!

Used to love this app but it keeps screwing up now. Tonight for example, it messed up an order. Tech support said I had to resubmit before they could cancel but screen went blank then the app said there were no restaurants in my area (2 minutes earlier there were dozens) so I couldn't. Tech claimed the company couldn't (aka would not) offer any other solutions. They were eventually able to get me a link to resubmit - so not on the tech but lost faith in the platform and won't be using it again.

I enjoy supporting small businesses more than with the other apps, so i like this. However, there NEEDS to be a way to set default method of either pickup or delivery. Twice now I have accidentally ordered a meal as pickup when I had gone into that restaurant's menu because it offered delivery. Given current technology, there's no good excuse to not have a way to set today preference. Also the variety of restaurants can sometimes be a bit limited at the current time.

Good when it works but it's not accurate. When you select restaurant, you can set for delivery or pickup. Do not trust the screens since it's misleading. It's not until you pay that it can switch to pickup . The app is a doordash front where they don't have an agreement with the restaurant. This happens many times and chownow knows the issue but won't fix.

A local restaurant required this for pick and delivery. After placing my order I received an error and the order never went through (which I verified with the restaurant) but they took the money from my account. After working with their customer service team (which wasn't easy to find) their advice was to try again with another card with a promise the charge wouldn't go through and check again in 24 hrs. Don't bother. There are better options

I set up my account via the Web using the Google credentials option. Using the android app there's no way to choose Google credentials to log in??? I've only used the app 3 times, but each time I've had to re enter my payment method, despite checking the Box that says to remember it. There does not seem to be an option to remember and order, so I have to re enter each time. Prices through the app are higher than prices at the restaurant, and not all items are available through the app.

It's just not a well designed app for ordering food. It gives a bunch of options but the layout doesn't make sense, then you could be done with your order and go to pay but it only then tells you that you're out of the delivery range. Shouldn't that be baked into a delivery app? It's like they had a good idea, but didn’t think about the people actually using the product.

Used for the first time. Ordering was easy, however once the order reaches the time of delivery, there are no updates, no tracking available to see where the order is at. I received my order 20 minutes after the delivery time and it was barely luke warm when the restaurant was maybe a 7 minute drive from my location. Help services were unresponsive.

Customer service is impossible. Ordered a meal that was supposed to be delivered at 730. Was notified the delivery time changed to 850 (after I placed the order). Tried to cancel. Literally couldn't. Tried chatting.... No response. Tried calling. No response. Called the restaurant and they cancelled but said I need to let the driver know. I can't figure out how.... But I better not be charged for this. Not using this app again. If something goes wrong, seems you're out of luck.

They never update the status of the order. You get an ETA but then it never let's you knowwhen your order has arrived. I live in an apartment building and the front entrance is pretty far from my unit so it's important to me that I know when it has been delivered. Half the time I can't even order from the restaurant with this app, saying it's closed, when it's most definitely open..Expensive delivery fees & they up the price on each item making it 45$ for 2 items, delivery & tip. Too expensive.

At least once and probably twice, this service has changed my order from delivery to pickup with no clear notice at all of the significantly inconvenient change. They have no way of changing an order to delivery after it's made. I cannot be clear enough that at least one of these two times, THIS WAS NOT USER ERROR. I assumed the first time that I made the mistake, but the second time I confirmed out loud to my wife as I checked out that I was ordering delivery and not pickup.

Not everybody uses their phone and apps for everything they do. If I place an order on my computer, it's be nice to be able to track it on my computer. Instead, I'm always directed to download the app. Having downloaded the app, I can't even track my order like I can with just about every other food delivery service as they outsource delivery to other companies. No wonder the delivery fee is so high.

It's a really good app other than the fact I've only been able to order 1 time from my favorite poke place (without the insane upcharges as DoorDash and more money to the business) but every single time after that whenever I go to pay it just sits there doesn't go through, even if I have money in my account. I haven't been able to order it through the app for the past month and it's more convenient than going in sometimes.

I tried to order through a local restaurant I've ordered from many times. In the checkout process I was busy and neglected to put a tip and there was no reminder or any other way to indicate that I forgot to tip the driver. I paid a $6 fee to the app itself for basically just middle-manning something I've handled directly repeatedly - or paid their competitors less money to do better. I paid a company $6 and I can't add a tip for the driver that did the work. This app is an embarrassment, avoid!
