Reviews for Christian Connection – Dating

Troy Mayne

I am a full paid member, half the time I try to message people I get "Thank you for taking the time to get in touch. This is a preset message to let you know that I'm not currently a full member, blah blah blah" in other words I can message people them people I want to. Very poor, especially for such an expensive membership price. Definitely not worth the money, not even close. There is a lot of bugs. The app blocked a conversation with a girl I had been talking to for days. Caused some problems

The app is a great way to meet new people. Free version allows chance to view and review profiles before making a subscription commitment. I'd appreciate a weekly payment commitment rather than committing to a whole month at a time.

its been ok. you do need to pay but its no more than any other app out there. I appreciate it considers your filters and truly sticks to those unlike other apps. its unfortunate to say like any other app, its mainly guys who like your profile then never actually reach out or talk with you outside of "hitting on you". nobody actually wants to get to know anybody these days. so the app as far as price and functionality got it the 3 stars... the actual activity on there got a star taken away.

App is functional but is missing some additional functions from the website ie. viewing who has viewed your profile. From a service standpoint I am finding it to be decent - messaging is frustrating when non subscribers cannot send custom messages back. But that is expected with a similar eharmony model of pay to talk. Unfortunately it doesn't help with connections.

Can't really give it a great rating as trial is only a few days and not full access. I'm not willing to pay $42 a month so I can't send messages. Therefore nothing likely to come from this app. I still have my profile up though. It didn't appear easy to find those that suit via filters or create list without sending like. Can make like invisible but what if I want both visible for some and invisible for others not yet ready to share visible like? Probably other issue but didn't use much

This app is particularly good for profiles as you can fill in sections about hobbies and faith and add a few pictures. One feature that could be improved upon is the search age feature - it only does 10/20 years difference and it would be much better if there were an option for a lower age difference (especially for younger people like myself). Also it would be nice to see an age restriction in who messages you - as a 19 year old I don't really want messages from someone in their 30s!

When the app works on the phone I have, it works well. It does not load after tapping to open it though. It feeezes a lot. If I check again hours or days later then it might open - it is hit and miss. I have lost count of the times this has happened... I am thinking of stopping my subscription soon. If any technical support can help, fine. If not, it feels like there is no point me paying for this any more. It will be a shame but what to do?

The app itelf works fine, and I haven't found any glitches or anything like that. Now, bad bits: they let you send a few texts, then one day;none, you must start to pay then. Also they say that they live near you, but I'd notice that the number plates on cars would be different. Also I think some of the people on it are bots, and/or being paid to talk to people when there's little interaction. It just seems like a scam app to me

Basic premise of the app is okay but there clearly isn't a big enough user base to make the experience worthwhile. Within only a few minutes of using the app, I had stopped receiving profiles from my area and was only suggested accounts from out of state. This is definitely a hard ask when in Australia. On top of this, they have the audacity to charge quite a considerable monthly fee after your free trial ends. A horrible business decision when there's nothing really worth paying for!

Technically the app is sound, the problem is with the subscription model. Only two subscribed users can talk to each other and seeing as most users are not subscribe, and CC dating pool is smaller then the average dating app, the pool of people you can talk to is tiny. It is basically a date app in which you can talk to practically no one, hence the one star. Save your money go to hinge or bumble.
