I found the app useless. all the apps you can get from the play store and of you have a chromcast you have Google home that has a section for chromecast apps. and you can mirror your screen from there. that being said it was a nice list off apps and the fact you can turn off the ads for free got you an extra star.
Update - Good customer service (got a response the next day I gave feedback), and then found notifications can be disabled extremely easily. Nice. Still, I wish apps disabled non human interaction notifications *by default*, and asked users to opt into notifications on first use. Phones today have at least 30+ apps installed, multiply that by 1 or 2 notifications a day or a week... Adds up to an angry user IMHO :) Original - Never really used it. All this did for me is regularly send really annoying notifications. Tired of stating this, but wish all apps followed a default behavior of "Used on demand (user opens the app). Bother the user with notifications ONLY if he explicitly requested it". I, and bet most users, want my phone to notify me when a person wrote me, or similar interactions with people involved, not on an app's whim to force users read what they say.
Used to work on my Galaxy S9 until I updated to OS10. Now it hangs on the last statup Screen saying almost finished and never gets past it. To bad, have had quite a few casting apps die after update and don't really know how to resolve. My Spectrum TV App used to work with the S9 as well and is now kaput. I'm sure it's an access problem since companies are more worried about getting paid than providing reliable service anymore.
Probably one of the best casting apps yet, if not THE best to date... Cast anything movies, browsing, apps, games. Vertically or horizontally... One issue...when casting movies from certain apps..it will freeze, however there are ways to fix with the right resources.
Your response to that person was that the app has to be opened x amount of time install for at least a week before you guys ask for a reading. However I just downloaded your app went straight to a bunch of ads telling me to download all these apps to use on Chromecast which are already on my phone and it doesn't recognize that they are already installed. second as soon as I back out of all of that you asked for a 5-star rating mind you this is not been on my phone more than 3 minutes.
What I really like is it works on both my Vizio Smart TV and my Sony Blu Ray Home Theatre System. But my Theatre System has better sound so that's what I use mostly and the hell with the tv's built-in apps and it's limited app store. It's also powered by Yahoo search engine and I'm not that fond of that system either but it'll do in a crunch but that hasn't happened yet.
Still exploring, but I found the "disable ads for free" option; no gimmick, no bs, just outright FREE ad removal without any strings attached shockingly 🤯. So I must say absolutely fantastic job Dev's, I am leaving this review specifically for that reason!! So thank you!!
A very unique and handy guide to Chromecast applications. The list of applications grows daily and this guide helps you keep up to date. The ads can be removed by simply giving a rating. I highly recommend giving this a try if you own a Chromecast or used the built in Chromecast support on an Android device.
Lots of cool stuff on this app! The first app that I downloaded was the TV app, and I really like that app! Lots of great news with actual live feed, (not rebroadcast like Pluto) I use it to mirror cast so I can basically channel surf. And it never drops signal like other apps do. And that was my very first download from the Chromecast app!? Ha! Good stuff!
This app would not work casting onto my tv. I used to be sble to chromecast from my laptop but you changed it so i have to install on a phone. This app changed all my app icons to xxlg and now I can't get them to the original size of small. Very frustrating . I tried uninstalling the app no luck Tried rebooting my phone no luck. If some one can help me that would be GREAT
