You only get like five likes a day. no five swipes a day sorry. it's expensive. app cost a lot microtransactions like crazy. I'm not sure if the people on here are legit or if they're just like fake profile stolen from other dating sites. also, the site is kind of difficult to figure out. doesn't have a lot of options.
Reviews for Chyrpe Dating: Match & Love
← Back to Chyrpe Dating: Match & Loveyou can not use this app without paying for it. let's be honest. there are no user interactions. you dont get matches. you dont even exist on this site. It's just empty box fill ins. so when it tells you to pay for better match results, it's just to get money off you. don't use an app that will prey upon people's loneliness.
An honest review: Would I recommend this app? Not in its current state. The app is buggy. People I've swiped no on are recycled after 24-48 hours, messages cut conversations (today's messages will be cut into yesterday's conversation until a force stop), Pictures don't display often met with a broken image icon. Findoms are everywhere and lie - This app has an option to not see findoms, which seemingly doesn't work because even people who openly state they're a findom show up. Out of space.
I was getting so many likes everyday; I wanted to see the likes. I subbed to see. Noticed they are all findommes. To "my surprise", I stopped getting likes after I subbed. What a coincidence! They "claim" the dating app knows when a findomme likes your profile, but I have seen several findommes' profiles. I double-check if I have the switch enabled to hide them, and IT IS TOGGLED. Customer support will NOT fix this. This is a ploy to siphon likes so you subscribe. They will not refund your likes
So buggy sent likes you go to click on them again and it just forever loads way too expensive aswell 3 roses like 8 pounds and realistically they serve no purpose we can send these roses and the profile may be inactive so we send them for nothing or we send them and get ignored so what do they actually do?? And how do they make it worth 8 pounds for 3 of them
the very limited swipes are a bit bothering at first, but you get used to the idea that you will slowly build up to a good group of conversations. the complete lack of geographical sense is definitely annoying. but again. you work around it. its not bad overall.
Unfortunately like many dating sites, there are a string of add on's you're encouraged to purchase for additional exposure. Used the app for several months and can't think of anything positive to say. Attempted to use the in app chat function to discuss an issue and was seemingly ghosted by support. Advise using one of the more mainstream apps. At least you're not paying to be ignored there.
The whole app is behind an extortionate pay wall. You get about 2-3 swipes every 24 hours or so. Yes, that includes dislikes. I apparently have several people who have liked me but I'm pretty sure they will never turn up on the feed. The most restrictive in terms of free content I have ever seen in an dating app while also being the most expensive. Someone needs to make an actual FLR dating app that isn't just a greedy cash grab. Edit: The limit now applies only to likes, star added
Everything was fine. Right until you actually want to filter which matches you receive or respond to a like or message someone. That's when they hit you with the subscriptions and fees. Seriously, I understand they gotta make money somehow, but even basic functionalities of a social app locked behind paywalls? Nope, not going there.
Levels of interaction hidden behind more pay walls. I paid for a lifetime membership of this but I can't see who liked me. it's the only app that I have ever paid for that does not show me my likes. It's an absolute rip off, complete scam. After you've paid for the app if you want to see people that like you you've got to pay an additional fee. Absolutely ridiculous.
Would have potential if it weren't for the ridiculous paywalls. You have to pay to even use the app, only to find out that you need a weekly subscription to even view your matches. Not only is it greedy, but even if you have the subscription, the people you like most likely won't, making it impossible to match in the first place. This is going to absolutely kill the app. It's a scam.
This app isn't fully developed yet. The few issues I've ran into are: Sometimes you run into random Grey pictures on profiles, or Grey profiles you have to swipe away in general. You don't receive notifications for when your messaged, even with it enabled. The support chat that they have in the app doesn't work. That or I've been ignored for about 2 weeks now. It's locked in light mode. Please add dark mode im begging you. You have to pay 15$ to use unlimited dislikes. And honestly way more.
I can't recommend this app. Not for lack of matching options or people but simply because it's just not a great platform yet. It really needs time in the oven, options are lacking and matching in certain zones probably needed to be added before release. As cool and funny as their socials are I can't bring myself to recommend this service to pretty much anyone right now. Should things change I'd change my review. But at this time from a feature standpoint I can't recommend this service.
Used the app for a few months once I made it through the queue, and I was shocked by how few features there were. Also let down by the near immediate paywall most features are locked behind. What I was sold on from other reviews was the intention of the app, and the feeling I get using it is that it just wants to be Tinder with D/s options in the profile. Prices are comparable to most other apps, messaging is free if you match, and devs update it frequently, but the experience is underwhelming.
Can't do almost anything without paying for the subscription. ALL of the filter options from distance, to age, to type of relationship you're interested in are all locked behind the subscription. Said I could use "Chyrpe Lite" for free, but every time I tried to press continue so I could start seeing other people, it would immediately bring back up the prompt to pay, so I suppose the app is completely un-usable if you don't pay for it. Seems like a cash grab.
This is by far the best dating app I have found. It may be very specific, but it fills the spot well. Most importantly (in my opinion) is that findoms must disclose that they are as such, and that will be visible on their profile. Even better, they recently made the ability to filter findoms out completely a free feature. I can't give this a higher rating because there are still some important filtering options that are paywalled, such as if they want children or not, if they smoke/drink, etc.
There's no option to try the app without agreeing to one of their monetization options; instead the app pushes a subscription agreement immediately upon completion of the profile creation process... It's reasonable to consider it quite pushy to paywall a "Free Trial period" through an unrefusable agreement to a weekly payment option (with the only other choice being a more expensive membership*).
Might as well not even have a free option. You're limited to something like 5-10 swipes per day. Not likes, swipes. I'd be fine with only being able to send a very limited number of likes per day on the free tier, but the current system makes finding a match basically impossible. Maybe things will improve if the user base grows enough that they can lean on ads instead of pushing so hard for subscriptions but this is a niche market and the frustrating user experience will likely prevent growth.
Niche app with a big problem for me. The range is automatically set to 311 miles, and this can't be changed without premium. People can also choose to hide their location, and it won't even show how far away they are. So these profiles that are being shown are potentially an 8 hour drive or further from me, and I have no way of knowing. Compounded with a limited number of swipes per day, and it's extremely difficult to find anyone on here
Put money into it to upgrade a specific like to a "super like (called roses in this app)", when I go to send the rose it just sits on a loading screen. Devs say this was fixed in an update but there is no update to be found, and I ran out of the limited time frame they allow to upgrade your like. So yeah, buggy mess. You only get to send 3 likes a day to begin with.
