Reviews for Circle K Charge USA
← Back to Circle K Charge USAThis app barely works, and it charged me $100. I called support and they said I'll get that money back within 3 days
Puts holds on credit cards and fails to allow them to be added as payment methods. Other reviews say this too
app won't let me create account. Without Account can't charge
Tried to preauthorize my card for $50 dollars just to begin charging, luckily my bank blocked it. Like everyone says ridiculous and apparently scammy
Can't use it with Canadian chargers, can't install the Canadian charging app. Circle K's charging is a terrible option to rely on during a trip to Canada.
Works, eventually. Tip: don't go straight to your location. Set up account first. You really should not have to tell them your gender before buying a few electrons.
This app should not exist. I should be able to just drive up to a station, tap my credit card, and start charging. Having to set this up on the road with family in tow was a huge hassle
Charging is fast but they hold $50 ea time you charge. And it takes 3-5 business days to get the difference back! Charged everyday for a week and it looked like it cost me $250. Actual cost was $50 for the week.
This is the worst charging stations out man!!! They charge a $50 hold to charge a bmw that only holds at most $15 to fully charge!!!! And to make matters worse, they take their sweet time giving it back I hope they take down this app for over charging patrons
The app requires a significant amount of information to log in. it is required for charging at the special k chargers. I decided to just move down the road.
App has such a clunky set up to make an account. Cant use the android password manager. Cant use Google pay feature to add credit card. Why do I even need an app? Either let me tap to pay on the charger or set up plug and charge. I can't see anyone using this except out of frank curiosity like myself. How this was even released as the expected work flow is beyond my understanding
Not great, not terrible. App is not designed well enough that Google will auto fill any of the information. App asks for too much billing info. It does do well, in that you can clearly see your car's charging information when you're not at your car.
tried on two separate occasions and using different payment methods with no success. i pass by these chargers twice daily on my way to work and have never seen them used. it's no wonder as it is hard if not impossible for a successful session to occur.
Why would the app accept cards you cannot use on the machines? App allows you to use cards like American Express and Discover but when get to machines the machines themselves may not accept those cards. Using the app to start and initiate results in errors because the machines cannot recognize the transactions.
I was not able to sign up through the app. After the 7th hold was placed on my card, my bank automatically marked it as fraud. Used credit card instead, no pricing info was available on the station, no receipts available. A $50 "hold" cleared my account until it was correct almost 2 weeks later. Fast charge though....
WOW this app puts a $50 hold on your card the funny thing is you will never use that much to charge you car the most I've paid is $15. Every other charger like EVgo only put $5. that's fine but $50???????? Lost another star not going to waste time saying why
Ok, the problem is not with the app, although it could use some redesigning, but with the charging station itself. The one at the corner of International dr. and Sandlake dr. in Orlando, FL. It keeps falling every time you try to charge your car.
why do you need my gender and mailing address to create an account, I don't want your junk mail. $50 hold PER charge is WILD. other apps maybe hold $5 per transaction that clears immediately, it's been 24 hours after I charged $3 worth of energy that cleared but the $50 hold is still pending.
For such a nice convenience station and even their EV chargers are nice, but this app has waaaay too much room for improvement. When setting up an online account, most businesses use email for confirmation code. Circle K uses texting, and if you accidentally punch in the wrong phone number, you never receive a code and you now have no way to enter in the correct phone number. Even customer service on the phone could not help me. Wasting too much time and I'm not getting any younger.
