Useless can't get payment to work. Can't reach live support and waited 4 hours for a call back and Clarins hung up. Bad app bad customer support.

Downloaded this app today, after receiving a regular Clarins email. So easy to select and pay. Used PayPal. All procedures as usual. BUT my order has disappeared. Not showing on PayPal or my Clarins account or by a confirmation email. Consequently uninstalled App. I've messaged Clarins Customer Service, but do you have any answers please?
1. Didn't offer app install discount 2. Failed to place order I made 3. Coder thinks it ok to make customers hit left arrow for every month since the day they were born rather than typing their D.O.B. App now uninstalled
Ordering is fantastic. But when I am waiting for you to get back to me about just 2 returns or about points I haven't received. I have the proper toners ext in my basket . If I can return the wrong ones .Claire
Do not install. I've placed 2x orders on the app that simply disappeared. But it took an authorisation from my bank. I'd also redeemed some points - only to find that the order doesn't exist, but my points are gone
I love these products. Easy app, easy pay.
App design means I can't use it, as all the buttons for navigation are under my phone navigation panel. frustrating experience all round.
I have tried three times now to make purchases using this app and it fails every time! Enter card details, verification code etc and then no order confirmation, just returns to the home page.
App works OK until I try to order anything. I through to checkout and although it looks like the order has been processed there is no sign of it in the app and the payment isn't taken from my card. I'll continue to order my wife's Clarins online🤷♂️.
Not fit for purpose app. You think you've ordered including payment but it just vanishes. useless.
I've Been buy clarins for years I am 54 I have dry sensitive skin and lupus, clarins is the only brand that I have never had a reaction to 👍🏻👍🏻

Absolutely dreadful. Kept clicking on basket and app just goes back to homescreen (Samsung phone) cant check our. Also when product is searched you have to click specifically on picture to add to basket. So you've just lost custom as I've bought at Boots instead! Would give zero points if i could
Once you make a purchase there is no confirmation screen that the transaction has went through. My first attempt didn't even register. On my second attempt, again no confirmation. I needed to check my credit card notifications to make sure the purchase had been made. This is confusing for users.
Good except it kept signing me out and emptying my bag right before the biggest sale was about to be over. It caused me and Clarins to miss out on me purchasing 4 other items. By the time I paid and closed my cart. I ended up with only 2 items. Extremely frustrating. Edit: just received my box to find that none of my samples were in the box. The app made me miss out on cart items during a sale and I lost my samples. I will be deleting the app.
App is absolutely useless. Takes your money, but issues no order number, so to get a refund, have to write in to customer service who just simply ignore your emails. Clarins app and customer service are inadequate and woeful. Why wasn't the app fully tested to see if it functions correctly before advertising and promoting it? And then who exactly is managing the so called customer service team? Why are they not accountable? Rating of zero would be appropriate.
This app is abysmal. It lets you shop, complete your order, verify the payment etc but then cancels it/doesn't complete in the background. You are none the wiser, as it looks like the transaction completed, so you only become aware when the delivery fails to arrive. Have had this happen 3 times. Extremely poor.
Seems to have entirely female imagery (Clarins don't recognise they have male customers for their male range) and uses obsolete and potentially discriminatory CAPTCHA to overcome inadequate account security. (2FA needed) An App designed and built by luddites that needs more than a shot of serum to give it a face lift. A triumph of design gloss over function. Get 15% off my first order - forget it - your email address is not valid!
