coming back to add to my 1 star. had originally rated it that because of the fact that when youre trying to confirm your phone number, it sends the code but doesnt give you anywhere to enter it. I finally got it to work after way too many attempts, and now after its asking to re-confirm my info, its doing the same thing. to still be having this issue months later is absolutely ridiculous, get it together yall. im getting charged a fee for a service I cannot use, fix it quickly.

Asked to reschedule my payment once and when I finally repaid it, TWO DAYS EARLY, they lowered my advance amount from $200 to $40. Probably because they can't ever reflect my paycheck in my bank when it comes in. And splitting the $200 in the past into two different payments, available on different days, with two different fees, on top of the monthly subscription fee is a SCAM. Cleo has gone downhill. Worst app ever!

they make it impossible to verify your info, this is only after they've made sure you're subscribed, though. if you cancel your next payment, you have to pay again to use the app even if your previous subscription wasnt expired. finally I was never able to actually get an advance but they make you subscribe for $5.99 and if you can actually get an advance, they charge you fees for the advance, aswell as to get it delivered instantly. I'm honestly surprised they haven't been sued

Nightmares never use this App. I had an issue where my bank marked my transactions with Cleo as disputed. The bank fixed the issue and released all their funds to them that was 3 weeks ago they still haven't bothered to fix it on their end in fact they claim I owe for an advance from 3 months ago. They won't acknowledge me at all. In the meantime they have blocked my card and suspended my account. Worst customer service. And if you have a problem, you better hope you don't get Blue!

Signed up because a bill left me with no money for the 3 days left until I get paid. I subscribed & everything. I keep getting a "Something went wrong, please try again." error message when requesting the cash advance that I am eligible. I tried everything from wiping the app to uninstalling. Still get the error. customer support is not helpful & almost non-existent. I wouldn't recommend this service.

Used this app for a while and was great. One day it completely stopped working. Never had a late payment have good income that shows in my banking apps. Will tell me I'm eligible but when I put through an advance it tells me I'm not eligible anymore. Their customer service is just ai bots that are infuriating and when you finally do get through the 3 different Ai bots and talk to a person they can't do anything anyway. Not gunna pay a subscription for a service they won't let me use.

installed and subbed to get cash advance. it was unable to link my card despite my details being correct. was trying to avoid an overdraft so I couldn't wait for supports help. however, despite this I rate 5 stars because they are going to refund my subscription. I just talked to the ai about canceling, didn't have to jump through hoops. any company willing to make things right (or atleast not charge you) is a good one in my eyes.

My experience with this app is not great, here's why. I filled out all information and even got approved for a cash advance. However, when I was about to complete to finalize my cash advbance a window popped up, " unable to verify you ". I contacted customer service and even they could not fix this error. The app is flawed ands customer service is unable to find u in the system . If you open an account using another email this will flag you via your social security number. The end result u get 0

App used to be great, but now the "daily" limit has been reduced so low that you have to take multiple advances to get to the same amount that you used to be able to take in a single advance. this has obviously been done so you are forced to pay more fees for the instant withdrawal option. Absolutely useless/worthless app. Not recommended.

WARNING: COMPLETE SCAM!!! Totally avoid this!! I make $7440/mo and they charged me the $8.99 for pro and the best offer they will give is $30. So to get the $150 or whatever you probably need to make over $500k/yr! Seems to be a scam to steal the first month's subscription fee from users then offer a purely useless service. Also, for the $30, it was going to charge another $14.99 fee and a $5.99 same day fee, plus 3.33% APR! On top of the $8.99 subscription. Realistic interest is over 200%+!

Cleo is wonderful for small cash advances. I wish they would give out other options to pay off those cash advances into multiple payments. So if you borrow 200. That's the amount they want paid back all at once. No option to make multiple recurring repayments. Cleo also keeps track of your spending habits. Which was helpful enough for my husband and I to quit smoking. Amazing app to help you when you need it. Thanks Cleo

pervious I had a error with the app, the app wouldn't allow advance unless I got (plus)... but once I did, None of my cards worked, even the one I used for my banking. After a few days it finally accepted my request for a advance so I change my rating. Kind of sucks to have to pay for subscription and still have to pay fee for advance though. Thank you guys.

I used the service for more than a year, was ALWAYS in good standing and was completely satisfied....until recently. No clue what changed, but I'm getting tons of errors on my account, won't let me add a card, won't let me accept my advance, support is WORTHLESS. 'Explanations' for errors are given that make no sense, support doesn't listen, they seem to expect you to be ok with paying for service you are not receiving! I will be reporting my experience. This is NOT acceptable DO BETTER

This app used to be really convenient if you needed extra cash before payday. Now they charge exorbitant fees, say you have $x amount but you are only eligible for a little bit at a time every 24 hours in addition to charging $8.99 per withdrawal. I guess they need the extra fees now since they are in a class action lawsuit. DO NOT do business with Cleo.

Used to be great, As of late the app has continued to get more and more buggy. Can't access borrow because it won’t load, sometimes the app itself wont load, it's been getting worse and worse. I've read other comments about the same thing and it doesn't seem like they care because nothing is happening to make it better. I just keep getting into technical error it's a technical error it's a technical error

The app sucks. I have been trying to complete the process for the extra cost they charge (Cleo Plus) for over a year. The debit card associated with my checking account does not work according to this app. The app keeps saying my card is frozen when it isn't. I reconnected my bank, for which took over 5 minutes to connect, and the app is just going in a circle connecting. No other cash advance apps that I have used in the past had this problem with. Examples are Floatme, Dave, Bright and Earnin.

App used to be decent, now it all just feels like a scam. I'm eligible for $300, but I can only take up to $100 per 24 hours, and if I want it quicker I have to pay the 8 dollar fee for each transaction. That's AFTER paying the monthly fee. Plus, the app has gotten so difficult to load lately. I haven't even been able to check anything on it at all today, I keep being told "there's been a problem". I think this app is on it's way out the door, and I'm deleting. There are way better options.

Although I love how the app "checks on your finances" every time you open it and through its notifications, it's been a couple of years, and it still gives me an error message when trying to use my debit card to pay for a plan and continue to an advance. What makes matters worse, this bank is where my main source of income goes. I'm sure it would be a great app if they added more banks.

App used to work great and everything processed quickly. Now, they seem to pick and choose who they want to deal with apparently. I know multiple people who use the app as well and advances are paid the day they're supposed to be, refreshed and they're offered an advance same day again. The past few times it has taken 4 to a days for "their side to process" when it has already been debited, not pending, from my account. It truly makes absolutely no sense and done with the app

The Worst the ABSOLUTELY WORST !!! JUST Spent almost an hour trying to cancel the order that was requested seconds after I was told that I couldn't get the money for 24 hours, Not in minutes like the ad says. "Cleo" keeps repeating her responses to my request. Over 6 ( that's when I stopped counting) times. All that for $65. NOT even the $100 that the ad says you can get. They make you sign up for their "monthly subscription " at $5.99 a month, then they charge a min of $7.99 for the $65.
