Description
Been using Cloaked: Protect your privacy for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you create fake phone numbers, email addresses, and passwords to use when signing up for stuff online. Pretty solid if you’re into protecting your personal info from spammers and scammers.
Here’s what you do – you can generate unlimited aliases to use instead of your real info. There’s also a password manager that saves all your fake logins. And you can even get virtual credit cards soon, which is pretty cool. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s useful once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you’re big on online privacy and sick of spam, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want more control over your personal data.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Cloaked: Protect your privacy. I've tested a bunch of privacy and security apps and this one's a pretty solid option. The ability to generate unlimited aliases is super handy for signing up for sketchy sites or avoiding spam. The password manager works well too. But I will say the UI could be a bit more user-friendly, and the free version has some limitations. Overall though, it's a reliable way to keep your personal info safe online.
