Reviews for Cloud Baby Monitor

← Back to Cloud Baby Monitor

Heartwarming to see my baby while I'm at work. I love it. Worth every penny! I never buy apps but this was recommended by a mom at the library and what a lifesaver. Peace of mind guaranteed with Cloud Baby. Also nice to see my dog. Light and voice are neat features too. I just love everything about this nanny cam app.

Using the app, without an account, for monitoring over wifi is no longer available. I have been using this app on ios for almost an year. Upon downloading here on Android, finding that app now requires an account. I'm not interested in cloud monitoring option.

Great and reliable. Found this baby monitor app when traveling with our little one during summer and was surprised how well it works. One of the recent updates added ability to play white noise to your little one, which does wonders making him fall asleep. Using the app daily. Thanks devs!

Great value for money. Use the parent unit on my Xiaomi and baby unit on the iPad and it works great. Simple to setup, clear audio, great video, and the best in my opinion: lullabies and soothing screens. We taught our little one to just speak to us when he wakes up in the middle of the night and sees the moon and stars image on the iPad. Works really great and helped us transition him to his own room pretty peacefully. 😎

The app was working great, we would use the white noise on the app and have the monitor on our phone and if the baby made noise, only the babys noise came through to our device, but lately every time we open the monitor all we can hear is the white noise of the app echo. It actually caused me to not hear the baby and instead the white noise put me to sleep, and according to the app she was crying for over half an hour before i woke up to another noise in the house. If you can fix that, 5 stars.

Ignore the bad reviews - just follow the developers instructions when setting it up. Works seamlessly cross-platform with my galaxy s7 as a parent unit and my iPad as the child unit. Now runs in the background and when the screen is locked hence the updated 5 star rating!! Couldn't recommend this app more. Great developer who was quick to answer any questions I had setting it up. Thanks Martin!!

Wonderfully easy to use. Bought this app after friend recommended it to me and I am glad I did. It has no free trial yet (please developers add it) so I was hesitant at first, but my friend said I will be satisfied. Using it daily on our old iPhone and my Pixel 3a. Just make sure to pair the devices together using the same in-app account.

Just started using this app and got the first real night's sleep in a week! could not be more pleased!! The audio picks up every sound, which is EXACTLY what I wanted! I am monitoring my elderly parent, and they are much stealthier than an infant.

It does work... However. The battery usage is off the charts. - literally. The battery monitor in Android registers a spike/blip and suddenly I'm on reserve. This app will completely flatten my moto X4, from 100% to emergency shut down, in about 45 minutes. Movement detection and sound detection on the baby unit that pushes to the parent units to start the audio and video stream is a must. At the moment the stream is just on -always- This doesn't represent $7.50 AUD worth of app. Disappointed.

Even though I updated my IOS apps with the newest version of the app it was still unable to link with my Pixel 3xl Android version of the app. Do not buy until the company has confirmed seamless integration which is currently not the case. I still maintain the 5 stars on an IOS ecosystem only environment though. Still not ready for Android.

Pretty good overall. A couple of features that would improve the app: 1. When using with multiple baby units: the ability to mute one of the units when observing from the parent unit (so that you could listen to one baby at a time, instead of both). 2. vox sensitivity feature: so that you could have the monitor open and observe video, but only hear sounds above a certain threshold (instead of hearing all sounds all the time)--the alert thresholds are nice, but there should be a basic threshold for passing audio when the unit is open as well. 3. A white noise filter would be nice, for those of us using white noise machines and shushers to help our babies sleep.

Works fine but I do not understand why the user interface varys between Android and iPhone. Especially the nightlight function. I can only turn it on and off. My wife is able to control the brightness of the light on her iPhone. And when I turn the night light on it is at full brightness and that would wake my daughter up so I have to use her phone to turn it down

For an app that is cloud based you would think that they were not charge you again for the app when you switch from iOS to android, but I guess like all others they are trying to make as much money as possible. On top of that, the monitors on my iOS devices are not showing up on my android.

This app is truly awesome! No idea why the ratings are not in the high 4's. We use an old iphone as the baby unit and an old android as the parent unit (handy hint, turn off battery optimisation for the app). Really love how simple it is. Works better and connects faster with each update. Suggestion for future: 1-A recording function (video and sound) so I can use it as a nanny cam and recording a snippet when he wakes up. 2-Movement/Sound activation options (e.g. gentle alert or high alert)

Disappointed. I bought this app purely because of the music/white noise option, thinking I could start the noise remotely (logical, otherwise I'd just use two free apps if I had to go into baby's room anyway). Turns out not only can I not set noise remotely - it plays loudly on my device and barely at all on hers - but the pause/stop function doesn't work - have to close app. Otherwise this is just like the free Dormi or Baby Monitor 3G. Save the $$. Wishing for a refund.

Its a waste of money. Its not alot but it could have gone towards something else. I have a macbook pro as the child unit and an android phone as the parent unit. They would not pair. The cloud doesnt work. I've contacted the developer for help twice with no response. So i guess i have to write a review just to hear from them. At this point i just want my money back from the apple store and Google play apps.

Great baby monitor if you have a spare smart phone! Does more than most expensive monitors although can't do video at night as it uses the phone's camera. Two things I find annoying: 1. baby monitor randomly turns itself off sometimes (on iPhone), and 2. I can't connect to baby monitor when I use it on one of my old Samsung phones and use my current Samsung phone as the parent monitor. Other than that it's fantastic for such a cheap price!

Had high hopes and happily paid for this one but it's constantly glitching out and losing connection. I guess it doesn't like to switch between Wi-Fi and data, and has to be rebooted every time I go outside. So, I can't really rely on that.. Also it doesn't let you have a thumbnail image when you're doing other tasks on your phone. It's either minimized or it's not. I'm actually going back to my antique sound -only monitor, or looking for a different app IDK.

First I want to state this app worked great with my IOS devices. The reason for this review is because the app and the developer said IOS and android devices could work together if they were signed into the same account. However that didn't happen. I cancelled the account within a few hrs when my devices didn't work together. But shortly after that the developer contacted me and told me that it could work and they would help us. I tried all the suggestions provided and none of them worked. So after a few days I tried to cancel the account. It turns out the original app refund never happened and so the app was purchased twice. I thought Google provided a warning to prevent you from buying the same item twice but I guess not. My bad - but I would expect to at least a refund for one of the apps. Especially since it didn't do what the app description and developer said it would do.

I bought this app as it is the only baby monitor app with a one time payment and cross-platform support (my wife uses iOS). It has been great so far, but I would like to leave some suggestions: 1) Please include a setting to manually adjust the ISO of the camera to be able to see better in very dark rooms. Currently the light mode just turns on the camera flash, which is too bright. 2) Please let us adjust the sensitivity of the mic for cry detection. Thank you!
