not letting me see results. something to do with Data. I paid for a month subscription
Reviews for Coin Value Checker
← Back to Coin Value CheckerIf I scan the same coin 3 times it gives me different information all 3 times.
it never identifies the date and doesn't detect errors.
had to scan 3-7 times and got a different coin each time
I scan and it scans but does not tell me the value of the coin
it would not see the correct year of the coin. I want to cancel my subscription. but I cannot find d where to cancel. it said go to app store to cancel. I still cannot find where to cancel. consider my app canceled. and I will remove it from my phone
freezes doesn't allow navigation. might just be my phone
I think you have a great app, but you said it was free . Then after a free trys you asking me to upgrade.
American coins can't be identified with this app. 100% useless.
how could this app not read the dates correctly as struck on the coin. I didn't even use the 3 free scans. cmon on now.
First coin scanned, 1980 Quarter. Die crack all the way across coin. Didn't even address it. Very obvious in scanning picture.
It works fairly well in regards to identifying what you're scanning, but you can completely disregard it's ability to accurately grade coins. I scanned a clean and shiny nickel that has no detail left in the steps but this app gave it a grade of 63-64.
Identified the first quarter just fine. The next quarter it saw as a dollar & I took the photos several times.
displays wrong year even when coin is in perfect focus. then have to wait until the next day because trial is for 2 coins a day and I'm not paying for it when it doesn't work
upgraded to the weekly and still isn't able to scan my coins like it says I'll change my review when they fix it. other than this problem I love they way they detect errors that other apps dont
still does not work scanned about 15 coin and has not fot one date right yet useless program...what good is it if the date and type of coin is never right. ...scanned 3 coins first coin has no date but it dated a 1965, second very clear date but got it wrong. third got date right but said no data try again but would not let me rescan hit quota
I don't understand transcendent rarity; pretty accurate; doesn't find errors except some DDO & DDR; I would like to copy the pictures of coins and can't; I like the collection option; easy to use; website is great.
vast majority of the coins scanned, when you try to check value, gives the unuseful error message, "did not match coin data". plus you can't even copy the coin information it displays, so that makes it even harder to do your own search for value
I checked 43 Washington State quarters and it did Not get one state correct. It got about a third of the Mint Marks wrong. I was automatically charged the annual fee at the end of my free trial week. I do NOT recommend this app.
how many times it tells me my coin was "saved successfully" then I scan a few more saying the same, but after 7 coins I looked back & only 3 show up in my collections? it would also be great if it would auto fill the grade & value from the lookup without having to type everything in again!
