Description
Been using Color Coach for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you figure out the right hair color formulas across different brands. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: You take a photo of your client’s hair and the app will analyze the color. And then it generates a custom formula to achieve the perfect shade. There’s also a bunch of color theory info that’s actually pretty useful. And you can save past formulas for each client – that’s a real time-saver.
Look, if you’re a hair stylist or just really into doing your own color at home, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the user interface could be a bit more intuitive – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Color Coach. I've tried a bunch of hair color apps and this one's probably one of the better ones. The color matching is pretty accurate and the formulas it comes up with work well. I like how you can save client profiles too. On the downside, the UI is a bit clunky and the app can be slow to load at times. But for the most part, it's a solid tool that saves me a ton of time mixing colors.
