I don't what happened with the updates but before, some of the series i read were still giving out 5 free chapters with ads + daily pass. Now some series are only restricted to only one chapter. Even the ads don't work anymore. The synchronization of account also have bugs

I complain about keegan having missing art. They say they would fix it and never got got fix. I like the idea and their selection. But I going to go broke if I buy their keys. I do not enjoy or want to support slicing chapters up. Just to increase the number of things to buy with keys. 2 key for 13 chapters. 😂

The daily free chapter ticket feature is often glitchy. When I go to click a new unread chapter with a daily pass, several times it has failed w/ "already rented" (and doesn't open). Any attempt to access that chapter from the chapter list fails. Only way to read is to click "Continue reading" which starts on the last chapter you read and sometimes also wastes the daily chapter ticket. When passes are gone you get long (like 30 second) unskippable mobile game ads for every chapter. Otherwise...

Good pricing (500-1000 pages/$10 as of this review) that's cheaper than volumes, high quality images that look crisp on a 12" tablet. No expiration of paid chapters. This app is a bargain compared to some of the other per-chapter platforms out there.

I love that the library has a lot of titles that I can't find anywhere

Top tier comics, all high quality. The only problem is when I click watch ad to unlock a chapter the app crashes. I've been buying keys because I'm really enjoying reading, but I still want my free chapters. I'll change it to five stars the second this is fixed.

Easily one of the worst designed apps. Ads that play can attempt to download and install apps without even touching the screen. Ads constantly break and sometimes don't even have a close button, or just don't unlock the chapters. Buying chapters is extremely expensive for limited time unlock keys

Aside from something like the WEBTOON app, this app is probably the best official source of comics that I've seen. But I do have one minor suggestion though... In the reader, I feel that the experience would be better if the double spread pages (in manga and stuff) should be displayed as single pages connected to each other like what the Shonen Jump app does. This is because the double spread page tends to become too tiny in the landscape view, increasing the reading difficulty due to small text.

It irritates me how Kengan Ashura chapters are heavily backlogged- that series is finished but I had to find the last 150 or so chapters elsewhere. Even though the sequel, Kengan Omega, is keeping current. Also, the app is somewhat unstable- I frequently get bugs where I unlock a chapter but cannot read it without restarting the app.

No keys get loaded onto my account when I paid for them, horrendous support team response. I've emailed over three times, it's been many weeks and I've heard nothing back from support. I've paid twice to have keys loaded on my account to read new chapters, and it just takes my money and doesn't give me keys to read. So highly disappointed.

Comikey is easily one of the best Digital Licensed Manga Readers, with a great payment system to buy an amount of "keys" to unlock chapters or parts of a chapter that costs no more than 3 keys, which saves a lot of money. You can also save more by buying several chapters at once via the app. Along with exclusive manga, it also has a wide variety of webtoons and a discord for support or suggestions. 9/10 Score

Out of the different manga publishers this one is probably the best and not as annoying. following a similar approach to Webtoon's daily pass and free chapters with ads makes it actually manageable to read multiple series from them. Spending a little money on one series I'm not against but if I didn't have an alternative way to get access (ads) I would've dropped this publisher immediately cause it would be too expensive. Keep the ads for free chapters it's great and is what keeps me on this app

i love that we can support the author and artist through either coins or watching ads, though there's a limit to that but it's still good. it also has a good quality overall. some comics are confusing to read, so i can only give it 4 stars. if not for that it would definitely be 5.

This app is fine. You get to read 5 episodes daily for free per series (with ads) and get 1 free pass without ads too, some don't like that but authors gotta make money somehow... The only problem is that sometimes the app would freeze my phone and I would have to restart my phone to get the phone working again. But other than that it's fine.

so far there are no issues with the app. there are times where errors occur and they take a while to go away. overall it's a good app

At first, I was skeptical of the keys system. But the daily free keys (per series!) and a couple of free keys for every 5 paid keys is really generous. I ended up spending much less than I would've paying for physical copies. Still can't beat cheaper subscription models that gives you the whole library though. Hopefully that will be an option in the future.

I'm glad that finally I can read in on my mobile. It's really handy and the loading pages is quite fast—and I really like the idea that you can choose to read free by watching adds to save our keys! But one thing that makes me sad is I can't find my fave titles on the app version (After God) but I can find it on website. Can you please add it on the app?

Comikey is a way to read some manga I'm interested in and I'm glad it does but there are some issues with it's service. The search function is weak (for example you can not search by author), the selection is limited, most egregiously some works give you less free chapters a day while simultaneously breaking up chapters in to multiple parts (one chapter can be cut into three short parts) in order to gouge users with their poorly priced key system.

I have paid for some chapters that then are locked again. thats a scam. I paid to unlock them but then you expect me to spend money AGAIN if I want to read them?? NOT fair.

The monetization scheme is horrendous, even if you make your way to the end of a manga reading 2 chapters a day for free, you aren't allowed to read the last chapter of a manga for free which is just the ultimate F U from the app after spending over a month trying to read daily for free. I would never in a million years recommend this to another human being.
