Reviews for Compass: Real Estate & Homes

Really enjoying the app. It's easy to navigate, the layout of each listing is clean and comprehensive, and the push notifications are very helpful. I'm docking a star because you should be able to filter by whether or not pets are allowed.

The app itself is OK for the most part. It gets a little glitchy at times and gives blank screens. My bigger problem is with the company. They have 0 customer support and do not respond to any questions. I guess they only care about the agents who pay to list to them.

lots of bugs, difficult to get to the map, difficult to use

App crashes and freezes frequently. Once home is removed from collection, it still shows as favorited on general list view. Slow load times. Non-clickable virtual link for listed homes that do have them. Has potential, but very terrible UX and a waste of time to use currently.

Not bad; similar to Redfin and Zillow apps. Niggest gripe is the map search. It is choppy/laggy as you move across the map. And to select a listing you need to tap your thumb the exact right distance and angle below where the listing is displayed on the map, which usually takes several tries. Biggest positive for the app is that I can filter on 2.5+ bathrooms, which I can't do on Redfin.

it needs flood information! in addition, you should be able to "x" out homes you've seen and have passed on so that when you look at the map you can see your favorites (heart), not interested (X) and not viewed (just highlighted differently). good luck

Guys, when will you update this? I've been asking for years, where is $/SF? this is just basic... None of the new features are available, I. E. Favorites, it's still on review and save vs matches/favorites/not interested. Floor plans don't even work (tapping it does nothing), and there is no "recommended" tab. No Markets function... Compass sign notifications... What's the point at this point? It's not going to make any android users get an iPhone, it just makes us upset...

App has very limited functionality compared to desktop option (e.g. inability to mark not as interested and perform active/inactive filters). In addition, map is buggy and requires one to fully zoom in before it displays the home price icon. Would recommend using the Redfin app much more for a more pleasant experience.

Notifications on my phone app don't work despite the fact that I've enabled all available text and email settings. My realtor and I have been in touch with the compass it department, to no avail. They did reply: "We are so sorry. We will do everything we can to fix it."however, now months have passed..... Crickets :-(

The search feature on this app is beyond frustrating. It won't let you easily move around on the map & show properties with applied filters. It just is super glitchy & doesn't always alert when my agent responds to comments. I wish I could use something else when I'm away from my computer.

Decent app, some communication issues. When opening the comments section shows the blank empty state with none of the existing comment data for a full 10 seconds before the conversation is loaded and visible to the user. No indication is given during this wait that there are comments actually loading, so I was clicking away after a few seconds thinking that the app was broken. Also, there doesn't seem to be a 'Request Showing' button or action available in the app which is a big gap.

The mobile app is missing a ton of features from the web app. For example, on a listing for a house, you can't hide the listing, unsave the listing, see comments, make comments, or request a tour, but on the web app you can do all of those things. Also if you click on a house, half your screen is stuck as that listing. I actually use Compass significantly less than Trulia, Redfin and Zillow because of this. Please bring feature parity to the mobile app, and improve the UI and UX.

Bunch of little bugs that worsen the experience. Can't comment on things with my agent, saving stuff outside the collection makes the listing disappear, can't ever find it again (not even in favorites). The user experience around collaborating with your agent needs a lot of work. When you map your saved items, some don't even show up on the map! Tapping the star icon when it's already favorited, doesn't unfavorite. It asks to add to my collection, even though it's already there.

parking filter doesn't work. 4 parking minimum, results with 2 would still show up

It's a very advanced and user-friendly app and it has features that most used and well-known apps don't have. I love it.

I don't immediately get push notifications when a house that meets my search criteria hits the market, and same with messages from my agent. Yes, the settings are set so that they should be immediate. I do get emails, so I rely on my inbox to notify me instead. When my agent links me something, it doesn't work in the app either, but it does in my email and web browser. It seems that I might as well uninstall this app and only use the browser version

app is functional, I just wish I could give thumbs down to homes on the map so I dont accidently click them again or at least next to it there's a thumbs down similar to the star

great app but stopped working few weeks ago and hasn't been fixed. every time I open the app I see "Failed To Get Agent Invite Count" and error messages that I cant work around. refresh button doesnt work either making the app mostly unusable.

Would be 5 stars since Compass provides the most up to date, accurate data, but every time I open the app there's a pop up that says, "Allow Compass to send you notifications." Firstly, no. Second, I should only need to say no once. Third, I went into the notification settings and noticed that pretty much any time I was making a list or something it was opting me into notifications for it. Don't do that. It's obnoxious. I should only need to say no once and not be auto-oppted into it.

App is pretty fast but missing some critical features for home buyers. 1. No ability to hide listings - in high sense areas I don't want to be accidentally clicking the wrong listings 2. When clicking on a photo of a listing from the preview tab, it doesn't deep link me into the photo I gallery to view it in full screen and instead have to click 3+ times to get to it 3. No labels on the map view for (NEW) listings. Assuming NEW listing is defined as
