Immediately after downloading it it wouldn't open and kept crashing. In the next minute or so it managed to corrupt my SD card and I had to delete all the data on it. It also said it was missing something (extension?) and when I clicked to download it it didn't do anything but show the same message again. I thought it had potential but now I'm scared to pay for the essential version.
Reviews for Complete Anatomy
← Back to Complete AnatomyGreat for anatomy (with paid version) but constantly crashes when switching between apps, which is unfortunately necessary when studying anatomy.
I've been using this app for almost a year now, and its a life saver for anatomy, it offers a lot of tools, options and courses for easy learning. Plus, it has been updating pretty often which is extremely nice for a field of study such as anatomy. Only thing I would complain, is the lack of detail in the circulatory system, it can get hard at times to locate certain arteries/anastomosis because of graphical design.
I like the app when it functions, but it has become an outright annoyance to use for study since the app will crash every single time if you let your Bluetooth keyboard time out and then wake up while the app is open. This is a scenario that will ALWAYS occur while studying. I had my bug report ticket marked as "resolved" with the answer "this app does not officially support Android bluetooth". What does that even mean? Support it then if you are going to charge Android users so much!
The app looks really good and is the best quality I have seen. It's just a shame it uses a subscription pricing structure. The practitioners this quality of tool needs to get to, in the UK at least, are either low paid or volunteers and would not be able to afford the price point either as a one off or repeated subscription. If you want more users, make it a lot cheaper with a one-off payment. That's what sells to the audience that need this tool. Had to uninstall, free version is limited.
I like this app. Very helpful. But it will be more helpful to me and to my ENT colleagues if they can add anatomy of the oral cavity, oropharynx up to the larynx. Also, the app cannot be installed in my laptop In the highlighting of the origin and branches of the nerves, arteries and veins, i think its better that the branches can be identified as well. For example, if i click the mental foramen and choose highlight, and when i click the origin, it still shows mental foramen.
One star to draw the attention - I'm having great problems with installing
all your apps (skeleton, essentials and complete anatomy). Progress bar
comes to 100%, stops and drops back to 35% or so and then stops. Nothing
happens and app isn't installed. This is happening only with your apps, I
can normally install others. Any suggestions? I'd love to purchase this app
as I'm already using the windows version and love it. Thank you for
answering.
Would be nice BUT... youre forced to be online to use it (fully, offline only bones). Also if your device has internet connection, most of the time its not possible to connect to Elsevier and this is frustrating af as a student. Especially for THAT PRICE. It doesnt work when i need it the most. On windows its not possible to rotate from horizontally to vertically (Surface user). After my Subscription i will switch to another program for sure. I need more reliability.
Fails on my Mobile, when I open the App and sign in, it redirects me to Elsevier's website to sign in... it then says it will redirect me to the App, which it does however I'm still not signed in wait 5min and retry again and the same loop happens over and over, it's very frustrating, I have no problem with it on my laptop where it works great and I love I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ But on my mobile it fails The developer came back to me and they are addressing the problem, hence I changed my ⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐
I was really expecting a lot from this app but the app doesn't open :( I still want to use this app... is there any solution you can provide?
It is currently not allowing me to open the app, which I find very disappointing. When i do attempt to open the app, it says that it has a bug and that I would need to wait for eh3 developers to fix it. I need this app for school, which starts next week. Can the developers please fix this error.
I love this app for the PC and I would recommend it to anyone who is going into the medical field. The PC (surface) is awesome if you have time to open up the laptop but a pain to do it. When I found out that Complete Anatomy was coming to Android, I was extremely excited to use this on my Galaxy S Tab4. However it is not available for the tab s4 and only the phone. The phone is cool but really small and would rather use it on my tablet.
Excellent! The student fee is a bit high after one year though, it starts at $35 for a student (and you get all the options pretty much), but then the second year it doubles. I won't be purchasing a second year, however if that changes I could see myself becoming a lifelong customer and bringing the app with me into the field. I shared this my student group and people either recommended it or wanted to buy it! You can do it all with this app - motions, I/O, tx, landmarks, EVERYTHING. A+++
It was a great app that allowed you to purchase a license. But now they have subscriptions that are more expensive that purchasing it outright. I had purchased it once before for $20 lifetime program on my iphone. But now I have an Android, and I can't get afford the cost of the subscription. What in the human body changes so much that you have to pay $100 a year? Edit: Just because you make more money in subscription services, doesn't mean it is the best option for your customers.
The mobile version of this program works well. Would like to see better zoom capabilities, at times the interface seems clunky. Sometimes when you try to zoom the model will turn on the x or y axis, conversely at times when you try to spin the model it will zoom in or out. This program does not work well on a PC, the format is slightly different, and navigation is not very intuitive.
This app does not feel user friendly for phone usage. I paid for the subscription, but I can't access anything beyond the skeleton and connective tissue. I am disappointed with this purchase. I've also tried using it on my computer, and it does not feel intuitive. It feels clunky and bulky to figure out how to use this app. My friend who is an athletic trainer recommends essential anatomy 5, I hope to have better results with this. It even costs less.
I had purchased a previous version of Essential Anatomy 3D and loved it. After I purchased a new phone, the app was gone! I couldn't find it in the play store so I Googled it and saw the app and a picture of it. When I clicked on it, says item not found. I loved the app, it worked great and was very useful. Now they want me to pay for it again? I was very happy with the app and I'm sure the new one is great but how long until it disappears again or they charge more money? Very unprofessional.
Never support any company that doesn't believe in it's own work. If an app forces you to hand over all your information and create a profile before even getting access to see the UI, or any part of the app...do not support them. How many times have you jumped through all the arbitrary hoops, only to find the app barely works, or has wrong info, which you would have seen right away had the account not been forced prior to the app even opening fully. Skip this one, and choose another.
Love this app. Great way to study, learn, and relearn for yourself. Great tool to help patients gain greater understanding of their issues. I only wish there was a way to report problems. The description of the biceps brachii insertion was incorrect (it connects to the radius, not ulna). The visual representation was correct, though.
Ridiculous, Different Prices!!!!!! I use both platforms, apple and Android. I used the trial and loved it and was ready to purchase. I prefer it on my Android device, and so do my study partners. It is a 34.99 introductory price on the iPad, but yet it's 74.99 on my Android device. Update: The customer service was patient, informative and let me know that this was not how they do business. It was a glitch in the system and made sure I had access while it was being fixed. Great app!
