So here's my honest take on Compound Pipe Calculator. I've tested a bunch of productivity apps like this and this one's pretty solid. The offset calculations are really accurate, and I like how it gives you all the dimensions you need. The interface is user-friendly too, though it does take some time to learn all the features. Not the prettiest app out there, but it gets the job done. If you work with pipes and fittings regularly, this is definitely worth having in your toolkit.

Pros

  • Tons of different offset combinations to calculate
  • Gives you exact angles, cut lengths, and dimensions
  • Includes both metric and imperial pipe charts
  • Intuitive interface once you get the hang of it
  • Free to use, no need to pay for the core features

Cons

  • Can be a bit tricky to figure out at first
  • The ads can get pretty annoying if you don't pay
  • Not the most visually appealing app out there
  • Gets repetitive after calculating the same types of offsets repeatedly

Description

Been using Compound Pipe Calculator for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you with those tricky pipe offsets and angles. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – there’s a bunch of different offset combinations you can calculate, all in isometric view. It’ll give you the exact angles and cut lengths you need. There’s also a pipe chart with both metric and imperial sizes, which is really useful. And the user interface is pretty intuitive – took me a while to figure out all the features, but it’s easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re a pipefitter, plumber, or just into that whole construction/engineering stuff, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
