Description
Been using Compress, Reduce Video Size for a couple months now. It’s basically a video compression app that lets you shrink down big video files without losing quality. Pretty solid if you’re always running out of storage on your phone.
Here’s what you do: you just select a video, tap compress, and it’ll make the file size way smaller. There’s also a built-in video editor – you can trim clips, merge videos, and stuff like that. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s pretty useful.
Look, if you’re always sending big video files and need to free up space, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Compress, Reduce Video Size. I've tested a bunch of video compression apps and this one's pretty solid. The compression algorithm works well - I've found it can shrink videos down to like a quarter of the original size without losing much quality. The video editing tools are a nice bonus too. On the downside, the interface is a bit outdated and the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. But for a free app, it's hard to complain too much. If you need to save storage space on your phone, this is a great option.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Super fast video compression with no quality loss
- Built-in video editing tools are surprisingly capable
- Free to use, don't have to pay for the main features
- Works well even on older phones and low storage
Cons
- Interface looks a bit dated and cluttered
- Frequent ads if you don't pay for the premium version
- Compression algorithm can sometimes be a bit aggressive
