Great way to get more detail at any of the supported museums, even for special exhibitions. However, having left the app open, I've seen that it continues to access the internet and has used some 3gb over the last five days! Presumably this can be modified to be like other apps 😊
apparently Sacramento is a cultural dead zone since the app shows there is nothing around here for miles
I used this at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and found it really useful. The guide is packed with interesting background info on most of the works here. The only improvements I would suggest would be to have bigger, higher resolution pictures, especially the zoomable maps. Also, it would be good to have an interactive map with markers for all of the works on it.
The information it does have is good, though rather out of date. I used it at Yorkshire sculpture park and many sculptures were no longer present. It asks for location and has a map, but does not show your location on the map. Often forgets its place and goes back to the start screen and I have to re-select the sculpture park, click through to get to the menu, wait for it to load everything up again. The map is slow, jerky, and never stays where you left it.
Great app, more content every new release. Unfortunately, scrolling is a bit of a problem, it is almost impossible to scroll without opening a museum. Please fix🙏
Despite the previous comments this year by the owners stating that they have adjusted the apps sensitivity settings, I found when I downloaded the app today that I couldn't scroll through galleries and museums without it opening ones that I simply wanted to scroll past. Very frustrating, I don't think I'll be keeping this app. Shame as I think I otherwise would have enjoyed it and used it a often.
I'm sure it's great, but the closest thing to me was almost 3 hours away.
Only 3 museums in my whole STATE???? There are two nationally known museums in my hometown alone!!! Great concept but this app is worthless!
When the app opens after first install note that it takes 2 minutes or more to load content. Until then, the page is blank.
Great idea, but useless outside of major tourist areas.
