Been using CorrLinks Text Chat for a couple months now. It’s basically a chat app that lets you message people who are incarcerated at certain corrections facilities. Pretty solid app if you’re into staying connected with friends or family who are locked up.
Here’s what you do: you can send text messages, photos, and even audio clips back and forth. There’s also a directory that shows you who’s available to chat. And the app has some basic organization tools like tags and favorites – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you need a way to communicate with someone in prison, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface is a little clunky and the selection of facilities is limited – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if that’s what you need.

So here's my honest take on CorrLinks Text Chat. I've tested a bunch of communication apps and this one's pretty solid for what it is. The core chat features work well and it's easy to use. I like that you can send more than just text - the photo and audio options are handy. On the downside, the app does feel a little outdated and the limited facility support is a bummer. But for staying in touch with an incarcerated friend or family member, it gets the job done.

if you have any problems you can't call and tell them. I had to get a new phone and lost my ID and my passwords and so now I cannot...
this is 1 of the worst apps I've ever had. way to hard to get in. way to many letters etc in password. then they ask for an id #...
awful!!!!! I switched phones, uninstalled the app on my old phone. New phone says too many devices still!!!!! messages take 2 days to get delivered and messages disappear!!!!! garbage!!!! complete...
