Does not get past the get notifications screen. Useless program if you cannot open it. I had to uninstall app and reinstall it to get past the get notifications screen. Cannot add a new shipping address. Now I discover that online prices are more expensive than instore prices for the item I am looking at. Very disappointing - makes me not want to shop Costco online at all. This means lost sales opportunities for them. Too bad.

The worst store app on my phone. It's super outdated and has countless annoying quirks. There's no Scan & Go like the Sam's Club app. Most grocery items say "warehouse pricing may vary" instead of showing the price, while other items can't be searched for at all. Many items that are available in-store are entirely missing from the app. What prompted me to finally write this review is that it's asking me to login just to view my receipts, but nothing happens when I hit the login button.

App not as good as the business. They cheapes out on app development. it constantly wants to force me to log into the pharmacy from a clean opening (as in the app has been completely closed out, not just minimized). It also doesn't show all items in club, some are gate kept by instacart and many aren't shown at all. given the seasonality of something's, it would be nice to know if it is in my club, not matter how it must be acquired.

Giving 1 star in hopes the developers see this. I'll adjust when fixed. The Warehouse Inventory feature has a bug where it takes between 1 and 10 button clicks to type a letter in the search bar. So if you search for "salmon", it will come out like "slm" or something like that. It takes 10x longer to search than it needs to.

not as good as Sam's club: scan and go is 100% worth it. i hate that Costco has no option for this. why even have the app? awful user experience. if you are browsing, then close your phone and come back, it will boot you back to the main menu. it's difficult to look up anything, it always displays "out of stock" items, no matter what and doesn't display correctly the items in stock at the local store.

I absolutely love Costco but man, the app couldn't be any worse. It was already terrible to begin with and it has recently started to give the "page not found" error message when I try to access certain areas such as my shopping cart, purchase history, you know the stuff that's pretty important for shopping online. Please fix this asap or just hire a more knowledgeable app developer, period.

For the last few weeks, I can only type one letter in the Search Warehouse Inventory search bar. Found a workaround by typing the description in Google search bar or elsewhere and pasting it into the Warehouse search bar, but that's ridiculous to have to do for every item I'm searching for. Have cleared cache and storage, uninstalled and reinstalled, but still the same problem. Hoping for an update with bug fix soon, please!

I find this app to be difficult to use. It's a rare occurrence when I can actually find what I'm looking for even if I do a search. It mostly gives me stuff that has nothing to do with what I searched for. I always try different ways of searching The only thing I find it useful to do is to look up gas prices and hours. I can also look up my purchase receipts if I need to and renew my membership but that's the extent.

Very non intuitive app. Very slow search for basic items. Can't see my order receipts even after 10 days of purchase inwarehouse. Super irritating as they keep moving and changing things. I want it to be quick, reliable, consistent. The costco store and app has none of those qualities. Most normal stores have better app than costco without any membership fees. I expect better from costco.

Edit: Fix you app! I can't even use it anymore. Search function broke This app is an absolute dumpster fire. Can't even view my cart. Pressing the back button on Android erases my search results instead of taking me back to my search results. Incredibly slow to receive data from Costco servers. From a company like Costco, and in 2024 no less, I expect much much more. Lack of intuition in navigating the menus. Feel free to contact me for further input, or if you want to hire me to fix your app.

Placing orders needs work. I placed an order for a very expensive item & didn't want it delivered to my house when I was not there to receive it. I selected ship to store so I could pick it up when convenient. While processing the order, the app changed it back to ship to home. Called customer service & they could not change the shipping method. The latest issue is they are pushing the use of Instacart. You can't get past Instacart pop-up to view price & availability of an item in store.

App keeps asking for permissions for notifications with only a "Continue" button but stays stuck on that screen no matter what I do, even if I click "Continue" - making it useless. Fix your app and while you're in there, put a "no thank you" button there as well. A lot of people don't want your notifications.

I've used this app for a few years. It has consistently been an annoying experience. Everything takes ages to load. When I click a link for a product that loads into the app, certain products will disappear just because they aren't offered at local stores. Show me everything. The latest issue was directly linked to the app. Phone is working fine, open app, phone bricks for 10 minutes. Finally get task manager to open to stop app and phone starts working normally. Get with the times Costco.

Please Improve Order Search Searching for past orders is limited to 3-month windows at a time. Who remembers the exact 90-day window they bought something in?? If there's a reason for this, it's not helping out on the customer's end. Please make this reasonable and better yet, searchable, like every other e-commerce app. Bad UX. Please fix. Thanks.

Costco is wonderful. But, their app has been plagued with user experience problems since it came out. Erased carts during shopping, not able to add items without removing other items first, horrible "back" navigation across the board, you will get "stuck" in a category of products with all navigation away/home unable to work. Almost every time I want to shop and add things to my cart, I have to restart the app at least once. DON'T MAKE IT SO HARD FOR CUSTOMERS TO SPEND MONEY WITH YOU!

I don't understand how people could give 4.7 rating. This app is a total embarrassment. It ALWAYS laggs, ALWAYS takes extremely long to load any page, it is ALWAYS inflexible (meaning that if you want to just "go back" to the previous page, it will make a HUGE deal out of it and will get stuck, so that the only solution is to exit the app and then try your luck to find that product again). Also, sometimes it doesn't allow you to add the item to your cart 🤷 (the item is in stock).

App is OK sometimes. It does lag quite often when searching through the app for products as others have noted. Another major flaw IMO is the user's inability to take a screenshot and/or download receipts from the app when logged in. No rhyme or reason for this from an end user/customer perspective. needs to be corrected. no, I don't want to have to visit a warehouse to obtain a copy of a physical receipt.

This app is just garbage. It's too busy with too much information at first sight, it's ridiculous how difficult it is to get to the right place to place a delivery order for a certain store, and inventory does not accurately reflect what's available in store. I would spend less time if I drove the half hour to the actual warehouse to get the stuff I need than if I used this app to order. Do better Costco, this is bad business to have such a lousy app in 2025.

this app is awful. you cannot see any of your purchases on the account at all.. unless you've returned something. searching for things is cumbersome because you have to know the exact name of the product you're looking for sometimes or it will not come up. products they just stopped selling don't come up at all... with no explanation. we're just guessing that they stopped selling it. please look into how Sam's club's app works because this one is decades behind.

this app is pretty bad, there's three different ways to look for products, under Explore, under Shop, and under Warehouse. none of it is consistent and they don't show the same products, this wastes time trying to find a product under any of these categories. also, when looking for products under Warehouse section, there's no way to add a product to a list or favorite it, so when I actually go to the warehouse I can use it to shop.
