Reviews for Coursiv: AI Tools Mastery
Terrible, Shady practices. I canceled my subscription shortly after my trial period had ended. A f months later I,get charged for $79.99. Of course I ,m confused because it was canceled. Well acc, rding to them it wasn't and there is nothing they can do. More like nothing they are willing to do. The content provided is basic stuff that you can probably find on the internet if you look hard enough. Definitely not worth what they are charging. I just wanted a refund
horrible customer service. I signed up for the 4 week class for my son and they have a very confusing (and scammy) "Add-on" pages afterwards. and if you aren't careful you will accidentally sign up for extra charges when they make it seem like it's free. Then when you ask for a refund for the Add-On, you're denied any refund even if you sent a request immediately after purchase. Waste of money and time. Be Careful with this one.
I really liked this app and learning quite a bit. So much so, I paid $79.99 on 5/13/25 for the year. I also paid $19.99 for the AI bundle on 7/2/25. I paid via PayPal. All of a sudden my access to the app ended and the developer can't explain why and claims to have no record of my payment. No one can tell me anything. They just directed me to Google. This is so frustrating because I had a 49 day streak. I just want my money back if I am unable to access the app. Learn AI X is a better option.
This subscription scheme appears to make its real money through the undisclosed fees in their subscription model. While they advertise a low introductory price, they immediately charge a much higher fee once that period ends—without clearly informing you in advance. On top of that, their 24-hour cancellation policy makes it nearly impossible to dispute the charge once it's processed. I’d recommend exploring other options and reading the fine print carefully. In my opinion, it’s just not worth.
Shady business practice: YouTube ad is not what you get. At sign up you get a handful of courses. With a upgrade fee on top of your initial payment, only then can you access all courses and data seen on YouTube ad. Also, unknown to me, this is a subscription. After being charged a second time, there is no recourse. once I did figure out how to cancel, access stopped immediately and did not allow me to access the app through the end of the billing period that they already charged me for.
I purchased the course and fully understood what I was buying and the cost — no issues there. The confusion came during the initial sign-up, where optional add-ons were included without a clear, traditional checkout process. Because I had previously logged into PayPal, the total amount (including the unexpected add-ons) was automatically deducted without a final confirmation step. I reached out to the company within 24 hours, but they weren't willing to make an exception.
Interesting learning process. I see why so many might find it too easy, but they might be missing the point. By taking small steps, daily, it helps retain better the concepts. Definitely not for everyone. But can be engaging for others, specially if you have a very short attention span.
I ordered one class for $19.99 for some AI training. A few weeks later I see a $39.99 charge on my account. If you sign up for anything with them you are automatically enrolled in an auto-pay subscription service whether you want it or not. The classes are very simple to follow because they are for ultra-beginners. You can add your certificates to your resume but I doubt anyone would take them seriously as they are not accredited. Save your time and money and get some CompTIA-focused training.
Exercises are ad-lib style fill-in-the-blank questions. The blanks are not challenging or particularly relevant. I completed the entire ChatGPT course in about 30 minutes and wish I could get both my time and my money back. Also be aware that this is a subscription, which is not made clear in the sign up process. I tried to cancel the day I was surprised with the renewal and they refused.
