Reviews for Coursiv: AI Tools Mastery
← Back to Coursiv: AI Tools MasteryTerrible, Shady practices. I canceled my subscription shortly after my trial period had ended. A f months later I,get charged for $79.99. Of course I ,m confused because it was canceled. Well acc, rding to them it wasn't and there is nothing they can do. More like nothing they are willing to do. The content provided is basic stuff that you can probably find on the internet if you look hard enough. Definitely not worth what they are charging. I just wanted a refund
horrible customer service. I signed up for the 4 week class for my son and they have a very confusing (and scammy) "Add-on" pages afterwards. and if you aren't careful you will accidentally sign up for extra charges when they make it seem like it's free. Then when you ask for a refund for the Add-On, you're denied any refund even if you sent a request immediately after purchase. Waste of money and time. Be Careful with this one.
I really liked this app and learning quite a bit. So much so, I paid $79.99 on 5/13/25 for the year. I also paid $19.99 for the AI bundle on 7/2/25. I paid via PayPal. All of a sudden my access to the app ended and the developer can't explain why and claims to have no record of my payment. No one can tell me anything. They just directed me to Google. This is so frustrating because I had a 49 day streak. I just want my money back if I am unable to access the app. Learn AI X is a better option.
This subscription scheme appears to make its real money through the undisclosed fees in their subscription model. While they advertise a low introductory price, they immediately charge a much higher fee once that period ends—without clearly informing you in advance. On top of that, their 24-hour cancellation policy makes it nearly impossible to dispute the charge once it's processed. I’d recommend exploring other options and reading the fine print carefully. In my opinion, it’s just not worth.
Shady business practice: YouTube ad is not what you get. At sign up you get a handful of courses. With a upgrade fee on top of your initial payment, only then can you access all courses and data seen on YouTube ad. Also, unknown to me, this is a subscription. After being charged a second time, there is no recourse. once I did figure out how to cancel, access stopped immediately and did not allow me to access the app through the end of the billing period that they already charged me for.
I purchased the course and fully understood what I was buying and the cost — no issues there. The confusion came during the initial sign-up, where optional add-ons were included without a clear, traditional checkout process. Because I had previously logged into PayPal, the total amount (including the unexpected add-ons) was automatically deducted without a final confirmation step. I reached out to the company within 24 hours, but they weren't willing to make an exception.
Interesting learning process. I see why so many might find it too easy, but they might be missing the point. By taking small steps, daily, it helps retain better the concepts. Definitely not for everyone. But can be engaging for others, specially if you have a very short attention span.
I ordered one class for $19.99 for some AI training. A few weeks later I see a $39.99 charge on my account. If you sign up for anything with them you are automatically enrolled in an auto-pay subscription service whether you want it or not. The classes are very simple to follow because they are for ultra-beginners. You can add your certificates to your resume but I doubt anyone would take them seriously as they are not accredited. Save your time and money and get some CompTIA-focused training.
Exercises are ad-lib style fill-in-the-blank questions. The blanks are not challenging or particularly relevant. I completed the entire ChatGPT course in about 30 minutes and wish I could get both my time and my money back. Also be aware that this is a subscription, which is not made clear in the sign up process. I tried to cancel the day I was surprised with the renewal and they refused.
The user experience with Coursiv has been disappointing. Despite finding the initial AI learning engaging, i did not receive any reminders that the subscription was still active, leading to months of charges without usage. It's frustrating that such a subscription-based service would not prioritize informing users about recurring payments. When i sought some refund for the period the service was not used, the policy was difficult to navigate and ultimately unhelpful, leaving disappointed 😔
Coursiv auto-renewed my 12-week subscription for $80, even though the product was useless after a quick glance. Their refund policy only covers the first cycle, and they refused to refund. After pushing back, they finally offered 50% back—while stressing how “exceptional” it was. This feels like profiting off fine-print loopholes rather than delivering value. Beware: cancel auto-renew immediately—or better yet, don’t sign up at all.
Be careful with this company fraud. They Ad for a small amount to register for the course and then charging monthly without any notification. I only registered to know about their courses and paid registration fee. I didn't open their portal after that. After couple of monthly I saw they charged me heavy amount for 2 months without giving any service. When I contacted their customer service then after multiple back and forth email they only refunded for 1 month. This is highly disappointing.
This is a predatory, subscription operation that engages in sharp practices. I signed up for a 1 week subscription for $6.93 and tried it out and enjoyed it. Today I was charged $39.99 for a 1 month subscription. Upon seeing the charge I immediately went into the app and canceled the subscription. I have not used the Coursiv courses since being charged and canceling the subscription. I requested a refund but Coursiv refused saying I had agreed to automatic renewal. Buyer beware.
TOTAL SCAM. Signed up thinking it was a one-time purchase, but they locked me into a recurring subscription without clear notice. When I asked for a refund, they refused and instead tried to push “bonus” content. Honestly, the content itself isn’t even worth it — generic and low quality. Save your money and avoid this service.
This is a terrible app and experiance. I got it because of the ads for the 28 day challenge. Its formatted much like duolingo, or many of the other learning apps out there these days like the learn to program apps, etc. It has very basic information, but really does not teach you much. You're better off just learning from you tube or playing with the various AI models. The worst part about it was they charge you 10 dollars to try it, then another 50 or 60 for access to their AI suite thing.SCAM
BEWARE - the course is basic where you fill in the obvious provided answer. Much of the course would only be useful if written or pdf information was shared for reference. Even though the subscription didn't show in my Google account so I could cancel on time, I was charged $79.99. Even though I explained and provided a screenshot, they refused to provide a refund. On all of these "contact customer support" offers, they will not rectify problems. Not worth the money. Don't bother.
Repetitive, nothing new, shaky refund criteria. In the ads, this course looked amazing. Upon use, I discovered that the information for each ai platform was very repetitive and non-engaging, and there wasn't much new information for me. I could learn better from using actual ai like Gemini. I thought I was guaranteed a refund when I was paying for it, but low and behold, I was not because I didn't use the course every single day. Buyer beware. 100% don't recommend. $40 gone.
They got me. I found the course very mundane and not what I was looking for. I left it go by the way side until I got charged 80 bucks for a renewal. Reached out to have it canceled and reimbursed( haven't used in over a month or more). Was met with...well our terms are what they are. Basically told to pound sand. They were nice enough to unsubscribe me for the next go round. Very dissatisfied with product and even more so with customer service.
This is just a money grab. First, they offer a $20 deal, and the next month it becomes $40. The approval to use AI is hidden, and those features don’t even work properly outside the app. There are $60 in extra charges, and they tell you that you accepted them, as if there were another button to say you don’t want them. Then you end up subscribed for the next month without any notice that you’ll be charged or that you’re subscribed. The content is something you could figure out intuitively.
