I paid for the six months subscription and not been able to use the application ONCE!!! That useless scam never remembers credentials and makes you go through hoops to restore your profile. Meanwhile it's has unrestricted background access and does only God knows what with user data. I just Uninstalled it and quite frankly demand a refund for the total lack of merit of your product.

Not working for me. I got the app because I needed a temporary number I could use online however after paying the subscription and getting my UK number I noticed that it's not receiving SMS messages or calls which is the reason I downloaded the app. Also the help form doesn't seem to work so it's impossible to get help from the developers. It looks like it's $5 wasted

I definitely am not a fan of this app since I had to allow it to access my contacts and media files in order to make calls. Also it does not work well when calling businesses which is exactly what I wanted it for so they could not track me or see my personal number when I call but I called 6 different business numbers and only one went through. However calling personal numbers seemed to work fine. I am currently looking now how to cancel as it is not working for what I need.

Signed up, paid for a 6 month subscription, started sending texts from the app and they were pushed to my personal mobile number and sent as texts from my personal number messages app not from the coverme number I had just purchased. I had never even provided my personal mobile number as part of the subscription purchase. CoverMe customer service has been NON-EXISTENT after multiple messages indicating the problem...

Absolute waste of money I purchased the package with 2 numbers and suddenly one of it got restored in someone else's ACC and didn't got it back and the remaining one is not working when I send the email that there's a technical issue they say please check again and don't text frequently and after 2-3 hrs even if i don't even use it again it gets technical issue DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP YOU'LL DEFINITELY WASTE YOUR ₹8,600

I did not authorize my Credit card to be billed 29.99. I canceled the subscription before the 7 day trial period. Also deleted credit card information. My card was billed and declined and was told my account with this app was closed. As soon as my payment cleared on my credit card it was again charged 29.99 and it went through. I expect 29.99 to be refunded.

This app is a SCAM. I have contacted the app developer and explained when trying to sign-in I receive a message stating my email is not associated with an account- although I have an email thanking me for signing up for a CoverMe account- my communications have went ignored. I was charged $39.99 for a 6 month subscription that I am unable to access whatsoever. I have used the app 1 time 1 day, that's it! Issue began 3/2021 and has yet to be resolved. I'll update review in the future for others

Sucks! I spent 39$ and can not get past the first page. Play store could not refund. Contacted company they could not find me by phone number or email. But it shows on my bill and on my Play as a subscription. So I paid for it. Never even sent 1 text. All I get is a stupid tree pic when opening! So I cant login they cant log me in or refund apperently. This has been going on for months and months now. Good luck Id rather get caught id be less drama!

Not great, I downloaded the app and purchased a package but my messages won't send. Noticed other users have same problem and said it was resolved by reinstall. However its now asking for an email address and password, was asked for a password but never an email so can't get back in, need a refund or someone to help me

DO NOT DOWNLOAD Complete rip off, after paying for this app I've had ongoing issues. Messages won't send but you'll still get charged, phone calls stopped working and the biggest letdown was the "technical support " they'll tell you the problem is fixed but it isn't.... Thanks for ripping me off 🖕 Never again.

Should not even recieve 1 star!! I was never asked to provide an email address when I set the account up, as they only wanted a username and password. I wrote my fairly simple password down and when I went to log back into the app, the password no longer worked! I know I'm not crazy!! I recieved a subscription receipt via email and when I tried to use that address for password recovery, it said that it was not linked to my account. Riducules and a waste of my time!!

Does not work for signing up with social media account like it advertises. I purchased a phone number to use for signing up for social media accounts so I would not need to use my actual number. The Coverme app does not receive the SMS that the sites send to verify phone numbers. I have contacted support and they emailed back with the same response it looks like they say to everyone else "more feedback... tick off send diagnostic information... give detailed information blah blah blah".

cannot deactivate. Im nit even sure how much i was charged when i bought the small package. it says auto renew and i cant turn that off and i try to deactivate and it says somthing about having data still on it and im "not allowed" thats horrible. i just wanna deactivate and at best get a refund for what i didnt use. at worse just be rid of an app that seem very fishy

No respect for my privacy. Requires storage permission to do anything. Absolutely unacceptable. Uninstall. Reply : That's no excuse to require storage permissions before anything works. Also the password field uses a normal text box not a password box, and it has an undisclosed character limit that is quite small, and then the password is displayed on the screen. Overall I'm getting a pretty bad impression about security and privacy.

Used 2 B great. Picture sending no longer works. They don't respond to help requests. Update 3-9-23. Coverme responded saying they know there's an issue with the App. It hasn't worked for a while & they are trying 2 fix it. I explained it is a paid app & paying 4 something that doesn't work is terrible. They disagreed & refused 2 give any discount or free extension based on the time it wasn't working. Any company that thinks U should pay for a broken app is awful. Don't use them.

My rating isn't based on how the app performs, do I'm not saying it doesnt work the way it claims...my rating is because it's not free, and actually not even that it isn't free, just because although it has a very lengthy description, it doesn't even mention that if you want to use it you have to pay a monthly fee. So, it's a big time waster. If the developers were open about the subscription I could have just passed it by. Too many anonymous text apps out there that are free, no reason to pay

I feel like this company stole my money! I tried like 15 of the second phone number apps and this is the only one you can't cancel your subscription through the play store and they charged me even though I didn't even use it through the free. And I had to cancel all my subscriptions in the play store, but I apparently still had one with them and still can't figure out how to do it so they're trying to charge me again and my review 1st review was deleted, but not by me.. smh

Good app Only problem once in a while texts are unable to send for a whole day it gets error message. Almost impossible to get a hold of them by the time they fix issue it's been a day or two. Update* app sucks. Every day texts are unable to send. Gives error message. Calls don't come in. Customer service is impossible to get a hold of. Save your time and money. Cancelling.

My messages are saying failed to send at times, and I have not been able to send pictures. It says sent failed, for many days now! I uninstalled which made me lose all my content. Reinstalled and still won't send. What's going on. I spent a lot of money! And yes, I submitted a report. I'm paying a lot of money and not receiving what I am paying for!

Ahhhh, come on!! A little deceptive aren't we on trial? Cannot utilize all the so called features, also stacking additional fees for add-ons. Looks like you also have an extreme limit on text messages of only 100 total, and placing minutes on calls. When you do this, makes me wonder if this will be what I'll be purchasing for $39 every 6 months..which is a definite no go.
