My granddaughter told me about this app and I absolutely it. Thanks so much
Reviews for Crochet row counter & patterns
← Back to Crochet row counter & patternsso far so good. row counter is very useful
While I appreciate free patterns, and the work that goes into developing an app, the lack of variety was disappointing. (Only toys) I wasn't going to leave a review, but then I saw the responses to other one star reviews and thought the snarkiness in their tone definitely earns them that rating. Edit: a sincere apology is worth it's weight in gold. The app itself is very user friendly and I really like the UI, you can tell the Devs put alot of thought into it.
The app works but not very well. You need a premium account just to look at the patterns. It also doesn't include sewing needles for the shopping aspect. It's not the worst, but ads occur every time you click on something. It is slightly impractical, but it works.
Criticisms: Only let's you upload 5 of your own PDFs. General review: Way nicer to use than I expected. I really appreciate how the premium features are useful but not constantly harassed about. The patterns it comes with are cute! I'm excited to see how this app expands over time. I would be interested in purchasing a membership by year instead of by month, so maybe consider adding that! For now I will get the most out of the free version that I can. Wayyy better than my previous app 🤢.
I just downloaded this app and it seems pretty nice. The deal breaker for me was the fact that I can't turn my phone into landscape mode when I'm viewing a pattern or pdf. Many patterns are in a font that's too small to read in protrait mode on a phone. This seems like a very basic feature that should be included.
Brand new to the app and it really helps me with keeping my patterns in one place! Definitely would recommend for other drafters! 🥰
I love the way this app keeps me up with my pattern throughout projects....I never lose track of where I'm at and everything is a breeze. Patterns can be downloaded on a PDF...you can take pictures of your yarn and hooks to enter digits and that helped a lot. Very accurate. Good job.
Has ads, even with premium subscription, so not worth it when I have a row counter that's free and doesn't contain ads. I just wanted the option for multiple counters for when I'm working on more than one project. It's visually appealing, but that's all it's got going for it.
very detailed love it. it is easy to understand
Great app, wonderful patterns. I love the row counter
I used to absolutely love this app but when I opened it today to go into one of my PDF patterns and tried to zoom in, the pattern is unreadable. It never used to do this and it's the very same pattern I've been using for a while now. Reading PDF patterns from this app is so convenient because you can keep track of your row with the row counter. Please fix this problem 😭
Spelling errors and no way to properly inventory cake or variegated yarns, even when using color codes from the label. Options are solid colored yarn or "fantasy". I might have overlooked the lack of accessibility with the absence of dark mode if the app was more useful. It's easier to just access the mobile version of Ravelry through my phone's browser. Hint: maybe consider disabled people's accessibility needs when designing an app.
not bad at all, I wish it would also include counting down each single stitch before reaching the number of each row you need instead of the timer. but otherwise not bad!
it's an amazing app not only does it help you while crocheting but it shows you the different types of crochets and it teaches you with videos
App barely open, less than a minute of use, and most of that spent in ads, I couldn't even try all the functions because every click is another ad. Now, ads are understandable, everyone's gotta live somehow, but every click? Every page? Every function? And that's just the beginning of use. No, thank you, I won't pay for a Premium version of an app I can't even try all the functions of, because of the sheer amount of ads.
I love this app and it really helped keep track of where I leave off on my bigger projects my only complaint is there is no dark/night mode! As a creature of the night I sometimes like crocheting in bed and as I'm settling for the night it would be nice to have the option for a 'night mode' view that's a bit easier on the eyes. Otherwise I love this app.
Great app. It's practical and saves me from having a huge pattern laid out in front of me. I can upload a PDF of a pattern, follow along, count my rounds right in the app, and even use the timer if I want to see how long a project takes.
I needed it mostly for the counter, but when I saw "patterns" I got enthusiastic... Until I realised there was no tab to add my "own" patterns in the same layout as the ones already provided. I would have even accepted it if that were a paying feature. I just hoped it had an editor modus to add my own patterns there. I have zero interest in any of the already provided patterns but I like the clean interface with which they are presented. I would love to type my own there and save them in one app
Didn't know there was a monthly fee to even use the app. It doesn't tell you this until after you give them your name and email address. Would have been nice to at least be able to try the app before having to provide my credit card info. Update: when I reopened the app by accident, I was able to try the app, though with embedded ads. The UI looks great. Row counter and stitch descriptions with videos are great features! worth the subscription price!
