so cal now has multiphone gig drivers taking offers for pennies and using disposable accounts! so those 40 mile deliveries for $35 are swooped up in seconds! yes you read that right Curri has undercut gig drivers pay for the last year a or so. what was once THE app to be apart of is now just a door dash, Uber eats, exploited driver app! English should be the first requirement for application but nope! they prefer broken English and no common sense instead 🤷🏽♂️

you can make money only problem is if you don't have the app open up on Opportunities you want be notified that there's work and they don't seem to have much work either I had the app open all day yesterday and didn't see any work so definitely not something you want to base alot of hope on
This app has a lot of bugs that need to be fixed! When on a delivery, the app will ask where I am. If the app is in real-time it should know where I am. I've also received 4 violations that claimed I hadn't picked up or the delivery was not on time! This is a flaw because I pick up early to ensure a timely delivery.
I'm pretty sure at this moment that CURRI IS DEAD. ABSOLUTELY a month and nearly no work from app NIGHT MODE !!!! then look at what they respond back.. standard script . I've been communicating notification outages and NIGHT MODE for about 7 months now .. it's really simple . DARK THEME stagnant app and no one inside Curri cares to improve or take suggestions. we're just PEONS.. WHAT WOULD WE POSSIBLY KNOW ABOUT what We need .. 🤠
No opportunities. What is a route runner never loaded in the app as it leads to an error page. 6 deliveries, 4 w/ issues such as missing suite number, 5 yr old delivery address, customer not available for signature & long wait times 2be connected to a human. 800# is not for dial in issues & no direct way in-app to get straight to a human. No 1 should have to email driverATcurri when issues on pick up or delivery are occurring. App was unstable even while on phone with support & they are aware.
No work available, no information about where work is available prior to installing the app, intakes information but doesn't allow you to delete it or even view anything in the app. Can't really say anything about the apps function itself but it's rarely a good sign when the app claims work is available but then claims you're on a wait-list when they're actively eliciting personal information. Several known employment and other scams like that.
The company has not fixed the app at all after numerous times asking to fix the issue excepting the vin. This has been going on for almost a month and constantly being told by email they are working on it but then if you don't update it by a certain date they deactivate your account. So pretty much they don't want you to drive and do your deliveries for their company
They need to add more job/careers locations for Virginia and Maryland States: Agusta County, Stuarts Draft, Waynesboro, Virginia Beach, Manchester, and Westminster. Receive notifications of when they're available jobs at those locations. I've applied last year and have not heard anything back yet by email or app. It has been a while and still nothing yet about the locations that I want to work at and already talked with customer support email about it too and still nothing yet the app.
Not a very profitable app, seems to be a delay in opportunities, I would click on an opportunity within seconds and the opportunity would be already claimed, then I would look on the notifications page and it would say opportunity was claimed 3 or 4 minutes ago, very slow app, and help center is very slow, I do not recommend this app to make a living, only part-time work. That was back in July when I wrote this rating, here I am in November and I have not had an opportunity in over 3 months.
app does not function as it should. when I arrive at the pick up location the app doesn't recognize it and when ever I try to contact support they take too long to respond. The live chat is explicitly what I'm talking about. I initiated two conversations thinking one would get picked up quicker than the other but they both took over an hour and what's worse is I was on a job when I needed this help. There needs to be a direct number to call that's easily accessible for people that are on a job.
Curri is a great side gig that pays good for each delivery. Support is great and haven't had any major issues. I only wish I was offered more deliveries more often. Hopefully with time that will change, and hopefully they won't over hire. It would also be nice to include a little more info with the deliveries, like the company name and what you will be picking up. The occasionally they'll have that info, but not always. But that's not really a big deal. All-in-all, definitely a great company!
I would rate 5, but any deliveries I've seen lately say they have already been claimed as soon it pops up on screen , very disappointed. I have not delivered in a couple of months as I can't get anything worth the miles and time,if I see any deliveries at all. Also I feel these loads should pay more when customers expect us to unload tile etc. by hand when app does not state it. More details on what and where I am picking up/delivering would be helpful. Not helpful When customer don't answer.
I've been doing this for over a year and normally I'd rate this app 5 stars, but lately I've been having nothing but glitches and problems with the app (App isn't sending me text messages anymore, notifications aren't coming through with sound) and I've missed out on SEVERAL deliveries just in the past 2 days because of it. On top of that, lately I've been having the HARDEST time trying to get ahold of a dispatcher if and when I run into a problem with the assigned delivery. VERY dissatisfied.
Use to give it 5 stars. App was awesome. Now the past couple months they are adding and changing things and the app is junk. Always tells me it's not available in my area. Been driving in the same area 2 years. I don't get offers anymore for a delivery. Use to get damn near 10 sometimes more a day come through. In the last 2 weeks I've had 2 come through. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, no good. Wish it would go back to the old simple app that worked awesome.
The Curri App does not refresh when manually done. And it does not pick up current location even when active, throwing ETA to customer off. Curri support takes forever to respond, and in the midst of getting help, they leave a conversation without finishing responding to you. Notifications for opportunities do not sound off so that you are aware, there is an opportunity available. You either see it or you don't. Opportunities are usually very far from your home. Curri app definitely needs work.
Updated rating: Many issues with app. Recently, 6/26/24 I did a 2 pick-up 1 drop-off total 147 miles 4 hour delivery. Haven't been paid the $160 that I was supposed to get. If you're new looking to do this app, I'd just avoid it. Takes support hour or more to have a simple chat it like they help 20 people at once or something. They can't really do anything besides wasting your time and energy. Also you can't call them they closed all the phone lines. Today 7/13/24 Best Advice Don't use Curri
The app is a great way to make money when things run smoothly, however, if you run into a unique problem, there may not be a way to solve it. I have done deliveries for a couple years. This morning, though, a delivery order was given to another driver that was assigned to me. I was informed at the delivery pickup that another driver picked up the order, that possibly two drivers received the same order number. No support from Curri for an answer. And the early morning delivery was canceled.
Good app with fairly-good paying jobs. Removed two stars for the unnecessary inactivity "feature". The "You're inactive. Click to reactivate" error message and button can and has cost me multiple jobs! If any app should work in the background, it's this one. You can't expect me to keep this app on my screen all day every day just so I'm not inactive. It's not feasible. You need to DRASTICALLY expand the inactive timeout "feature" to get a full 5 stars. App crashes when I click on notification.
Out of 20 gig apps.. This is the Worst, in terms of trying to get a hold of someone while doing an ACTIVE delivery. They answer you faster when you're not doing one. 🤔 Both times I've accepted a delivery, I had to unassign myself because there's no help through the app, Telling me I'm not at the location when I'm literally parked out front. Now I have 2 violations, both because the app, NO way to appeal because they don't show up in driver history. I really thought this was gonna be a good one.
