the App is having issues. Like many others, it will not allow me to set a store for pick up. it will only give me same day delivery or shipping. which I don't use. I prefer the pick up option. please fix. I tried your suggestion, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. still the same issues. no pick up options, no ability to change stores and when using same day delivery everything shows out of stock, which is wrong because I have traveled to the store and boom there is everything

I love the convenience of the app, having all my coupons and extrabucks available, but the glitches are driving me nuts!
When scrolling products or coupons, it keeps freezing all the time. If you click on a product to see it or buy it, and then if you want to keep shopping, instead of taking you back to where you were, it takes you back to the top of the page and you have to scroll down again, and then it freezes!!! Check out does not work half the time. Very poorly designed app, too buggy!
Ever since their last update. Every time I close the app I have to log in. No matter if I select remember me, or not. Come on CVS? You can do better than this. Constantly crashes. Won't let me open the weekly ad. I have to scan my card three times before it remembers it and it loses it every time I log out. Junk App!!!! If 0 Stars was an option, that is what it would have gotten!!
When it works, it's great. The problem is that it doesn't work correctly very often. I'll sign in and check my scripts. Then within a minute I click on Save so I can look at what discounts I have available and it has me sign in again. I'll click on something else and the screen goes totally white or black and I can't get out of it without going back to my main screen and rebooting my phone. Ridiculous.
Is CVS getting rid of BOPIS orders because there is literally ZERO items "available" for pickup. There is another review here that had the same experience as me. About a week ago, I was trying to see if there was a item in stock for pickup and halfway through, the pickup option was no longer available. I just looked at other random items to see if there was any for pickup and nothing! I even deleted the app and reinstalled, guess what? Literally nothing! I can't even set a store.
Zero stars. Worst app from a big brand. Locks up and lags. When trying to do mobile pickup, the orders are constantly shipping only when I'm physically looking at the product in store. Yes, I've tested the theory. Click on items, and it loads a completely different item. It's just clunky and cumbersome. CVS, you need to do better. This app is just so so bad. It's really frustrating for the customer and embarrassing as a brand. Please fix it.
Have to hand enter my password every time, despite clicking remember me. It's either that or use my fingerprint, which I don't use. This is ridiculous and literally the only major app that requires such ridiculous stuff just to use the app. Breaking news, your app is not special or different, there are other means of getting this done, much easier, and even cheaper with other companies.
I have to log in multiple times just to do anything. Even when I'm in the middle of a transaction, if I hit something that takes me to a new screen, I'm no longer logged in and have to log in again. Makes it virtually impossible to get anything done quickly, if at all. cart keeps emptying randomly. checkout keeps erroring out so have to add payment several times. the worst!!!! even online only slightly better
This is a terrible app. It sends you annoying messages all the time and mostly they are just advertising. When you actually want to use it, it then fails. It failed yesterday to work for the in store pick up of a prescription. The staff said it was a reboot of the system. It also failed three days before that in checking in with the minute clinic for shots. I won't even both trying to use it to track my records given that the one effort inndicates they were incomplete. I am about to delete it
RX refill information is seldom accurate on the app. When you go to pick up your medication, there is a 97-99% chance that your order will be wrong, incomplete, not received by pharmacy, still processing, or a combination of all these scenarios. I have text updates enabled. They're often not sent, late or wrong, as well.
the new app takes time to get use to the new formatting, but it's easier. the major complaint I have is that I would like to be able to place an order for refill on a medication that is due the next day, even if it has to be after closing time. since I have to wait for the day it's due to even request it (NOT FILL IT) then i can't pick it up until the store us super busy and I avoid the busy times.
Prescription end works well, thank goodness! Store end is a disaster. Get notifications for rewards. Tap notif, reward is nowhere to be found. NOTHING is available for pickup anymore. Some images won't zoom, can't read. After a few views, unexpected error, unexpected error, unexpected error! Black screens. Haven't even been able to complete an order in a long time. I'm no longer wasting my time = NO SALE!
Constantly freezing, telling me I need to log in again, the prescription portion of the app doesn't do anything, & when I try, it freezes & crashes. The app texting alerts always seems to forget it texted me & tells me it doesn't understand even though I use the same exact case & wording it tells me to use. Everything directs me to use the app, & it still doesn't work. The only thing that does work is shopping & adding rewards & coupons to my card. It's completely useless for anything else.
Coupon page still only a usable 1/2 page and you can't scroll backwards. Tried to shop through the app. Wanted to see the ingredients and it, no lie, told me to look at the product label. Are you 🤬 me? How do you look at the label of something you are trying to buy online? Time and location off too. It's only useful for having a full list of your meds at a doctor's office and not needing the paper coupons/receipts. You should be able to get your receipt in the app though instead of an email.
Nearly completely useless. Not a single step goes through properly. I have to sign in every time I use the app, even if I was just using it 5 minutes ago. If I want to upload a card, it loads with all the fields empty, no sign that they have received my info at all. They also do not automatically redirect you back to the checklist or homepage, which makes it unclear whether or not your actions have even gone through. It's so strange. Such a large corporation with an app that hardly works.
NEW ISSUES! Your app is broken and these updates aren't making it any better. I tried to add a $5 extra bucks to my card digitally, like I've always been able to, but I'm told because it printed out at the bottom of my last receipt I can't add it digitally. Why not, we've always been able to? I'm also being told I can't add other coupons because they expired but they have an expiration date past December 1st, it's November 22nd. How is it expired? Stop messing up the app already!
There are no words for the frustration of this app. Despite my phone having the fingerprint lock and selecting stay signed in, I never am. I always, ALWAYS have to sign in. And not even because it's been a few days, within 30 minutes! It shows prescriptions eligible for refill when they aren't. Thats annoying when I'm trying to make one trip and they're not all 30 days. It's said they were ready when they weren't & vice versa. Being told to use it on every possible phone menu sucks too.
The new app is terrible. I can't find my CVS card, which makes picking up scripts more time consuming (and I'm not sure if the card has to be scanned to accumulate award points, but if it does, that's also an issue). The wrong pharmacy hours are listed, which I discovered by arriving an hour before the listed closing time (6 p.m.), only to be told they close at 5 p.m. I've also had problems with prescriptions being listed as ready for pickup that were not ready or had already been picked up.
I've used this expensively over the years, but lately, each update has made the app more and more inefficient. Where is my electronic card - the single most important item for checking out and it's either not there or buried so obscure that neither I nor the store clerk can find it! Today, I wanted to check coupons, but 75% of the screen is a fixed Welcome note! The space at the bottom has the task bar, which is not movable! I can see 1 line of coupon! Fix it!
