I’ve been using the CVS Specialty app for a couple months now. Basically, it’s a way to order refills, track your meds, and talk to your care team – all from your phone. Pretty solid if you’re a CVS Specialty patient.

The app’s got a bunch of handy features. You can order refills with just a couple taps, choose to pick them up at any CVS or have them delivered, and even pay fast and easy. There’s also a messaging tool where you can ask your care team questions and get answers back. Took me a bit to figure that part out, but it’s actually really useful.

Look, if you’re a CVS Specialty customer, this app is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little buggy sometimes – but overall it gets the job done. Definitely makes managing your prescriptions a lot easier.

I've tested a bunch of pharmacy apps and CVS Specialty is one of the better ones. The core features work really well - refilling, tracking orders, communicating with your care team. The design is clean and it's easy to navigate. Sure, it has a few issues like occasional bugs, but that's common with a lot of apps. For CVS Specialty patients, this is a pretty solid tool to have on your phone.
